Diamond 1 Tips:Banning Correctly WILL improve your winrate

With every patch comes a different meta, consistently banning the right champions for that patch will help you win more games guaranteed. For me, I'm currently Diamond 1, and I always ban the same 3 champions, Ezreal Shyvana MasterYi . I ban them because I understand that they have a high carry potential in my current league since they can be played at their best potential by Diamond 1 or Master players. Your bans should be different depending on your league; see what champions are played the very most in your matches and ban them!

The more often you ban the same champions, the more you are comfortable playing matches w/o those champions. If you let them slide in then you and your teammates might not know how to play against them. EVEN if you are not first pick, you can still use chat to request bans! LOOK OUT FOR 1 TRICK PONIES! BAN THEIR CHAMPIONS! And finally, Keep up to date with the meta and ban wisely!

Dont learn of their comments because the right bans are Diana Jax Draven if they are fed you cant stop them im bronze 1 i dont care you diamond 1 but you must ban thet champs i play vs them every game and loze so ban them

Yi is strong in diamond? I honestly thought he was a very weak champion and easily counter jungled and outplayed. I thought higher elo players ignored yi. The shyvana ban and the ez ban i understand. Though imo i believe shyv should be replaced with diana, she just seems a lot better.

Can't you also force bans from the other team? like if you know a certain champion has a high ban rate save it for your last ban to see if they ban that champion.

If they have a high win rate, you should want one of those champions on your team. If you believe in OP champions, it would make more sense for you to want 1 OP champion to slip through if you are blue, and 3 OP champions (1 for them, 2 for you) to slip through if you are purple.

Letting a champion through bans does not give your team an automatic disadvantage. Your team is restricted by exactly the same 6 bans that the enemy team is.
