Hello, I am trying to learn how to play support. I can play Thresh / Janna / Nami / Annie at a decent level. I was just wondering if you guys (support main) use gold per 5 runes? What are some runes that I need to buy for the following champs that I listed? :o Any help would be appreciated! Thank you!!

Support income has improved recently (by recently I mean since the beginning of season 4) and as a result, gold per 5 runes have fallen out of favour.
Normally the main reason they used to be picked up was because with the gold generation, you could always wait 5-15 seconds at fountain and have enough gold to buy a sightward. When it comes to using gp5 to get actual combat stats, it's better to just get the runes that actually grant the stats rather than relying on the gold generation runes.
Basically, with the introduction of the 
, it's better to just invest in actual combat stats.
Google searching season 5 runess did wonders for me. and reddit is an amazing place
the tanky support page with flat ad does wonders on the ranged auto attack champions you like to play. its a great page highly recommend. I personally have all 3 support rune pages since i have a small addiction to supporting. (i have some personal changes to)
