Preferred Rengar Build Type? (Assassin)

I am currently debating between a better assassin build type on rengar, one type that I often use in toplane is Assassin Type 1: item 3074 item 3142 item 3035 item 3071 item 3078 6th item 3117 or item 3071 /item 3072 but another that I enjoy is Assassin Type 2: item 3074 item 3142 item 3078 item 3031 item 3046 6th item 3117 or item 3071 /item 3072

what are your thoughts on these? and which would you prefer / consider stronger, another thing to consider is the first build is much cheaper to build into throughout the game.

I'd scrap item 3142 with item 3156, seeing as this is a glass cannon build.

you shouldn't go glass cannon if you are top lane, I usually go item 3078 item 3158 item 3065

I normally max W first for sustain armor and MR and i use CD, AD, or armor pen runes and fighter masteries, these give you max CD at early levels witch heavy benefit reng since he doesn't use mana while item 3078 gives you enough damage for skirmishing, and item 3065 to increase your healing, and HP regen. then i build damage based on the situation.

I say not to go glass cannon because most tanks like Malphite Chogath Garen Singed eventually out scale your damage. the whole job of top lane is to keep the lane frozen for as long as possible. Allowing your jungle to make mid and bot lane their priority. if you want to go glass cannon, then go jungle, as going in 2 to 1 burst style will heavy benefit this build. while going glass cannon will mean the end of you if the enemy jung decides to gank top and most AD glass canons don't do well when overwhelmed.
