Why is Veigar getting so much hype?

He was buffed very recently, so he is a better pick and people like him more. The fact that he permanently gets 5 ap for every kill/assist is kinda op in a game with 40kills that can be 150 ap for him (granted he has rank 5 q for those.)

He's a truly immobile mage that saw success at Worlds

Until the Institute nerfs the Event Horizon Stun duration

most of his counters aren't meta right now and he's gotten a lot of buffs

he's also pretty good vs the current meta picks in general, and his infinite scaling is actually relevant and worrisome compared to the others
