Korean Username on NA Server

Yesterday, I played against a someone who had their username in Korean. It showed up as boxes in the game but in the "recently played" it shows up in Korean. I've been trying to find a way to do this and now that I know it's still possible, maybe someone here knows how to change it? Unless they transferred, maybe...
