I don't think it is fair that if we have to leave a game that we have consequences. If someone has to leave or if parents tell someone to get off in a middle of a fight, it's not fair that they have to wait. The only people who should have this is people who were rude or left the game for harsh reasons.
It's called time management, if you have dinner, need to do homework, go to sleep, and/or others; it's your job to not start a game of league. Especially if your parents tells you to get off, if you're playing league when you shouldn't be, you only got yourself to blame.
The only time it should be ok to leave is in emergencies, like immediate dangers, health concerns of you or your family, impending natural disasters, and etc.
Leaverbuster only works if you're consistently leaving, if you only leave now and then, it doesn't work. If you got penalized by leaverbuster, you left too many games and should be ashamed.

There's no good reason why the consequences shouldn't stay. When you leave a game, you're ruining the game experience for the other players on your team. Its not riot's job to find out if every single player had a good reason they needed to leave a game (theres literally thousands of players out there). Getting punished in a game is a very small issue compared to something happening in your own life that requires immediate attention. If you need to leave a game for an issue in real life, thats your own responsibility to do so. I just hope you have your priorities straight since you would even ask this. Also, if ur anticipating that something may come up which can prevent you from playing the game, take the extra precaution and don't queue up.
Leaverbuster is broken right now, you can get punished if you dc from the same game too many times
I mean it could be tweaked a little, but they have no way of knowing if you left for an emergency, or if you left just because you couldnt get your role and decided to throw a fit. This eliminated a lot of the people in ranked who dont know how to play multiple roles. Nothing is more annoying than the ____ or feed players.
What I think they should do is add a feature where you can unanimously vote someone out of the queue if there is someone trolling and you dont want to dodge and pay the consequences for their actions.
