im having a really hard time getting in a groove with shaco

idk what im doing wrong, nor do i know what i can do better... i love him i just cant find a perfect feeling build, or a way to consistently win...

any tips?

Maybe adjust your summoner's and build a little more to the enemy team... and your own. Like running TP/Smite, for additional map presence/split pushing for games which look like you might need to win early or something like that.

Shaco's success revolves almost entirely around his ability to instantly Stealth and blink with it. You are almost uncatchable in the jungle and your ganks are really strong. But you're incredibly squishy and don't snowball, at all. Your priority as a jungler is to find a lane champ that DOES snowball, and gank for them as much as possible. Focus less on your build and a lot more on your role as a jungler. Shaco is not a carry.

Sorry this is wrong, Shaco is probably one of the most snowball like champions in this game. If he gets ahead he becomes a terror in the jungle at how fast he can cover ground and unique gank routes he can take. Shaco is definitely a carry, he is one of the strongest split pushers and he the best duelist in the entire game (Yes, he will take a dump on Jax late-game).

Anyways, Shaco is probably one of the hardest champions in the game to play effectively. He's one of those champions that have a very noticeable skill gap between players, majority of good shaco will spend most of their time in the enemy jungle as is counter jungling is extremely strong and they're constantly applying pressure to all lanes by attempting ganks.

Am no Pro-Shaco player but a good tip for him since he's designed to be a aggressive gank/roam champion is get Boots of Mobility on him, combined with his "Q" he can cover ALOT of distance extremely quickly and even be fast enough to stealth jump past green wards. Find some guides online from high ranked players to get a idea of how they play/build him.
