MMR/LP and Duo Queue

I'm aware that if you duo queue that you and your partner are placed against a team that is up to a division above your "real" one.

My question is very simple: If you win, do you also get full MMR/LP gains for this win as if you defeated opponents a division above yourself? Or does the game only give you MMR as if you just defeated a "normal" opponent at your own MMR anyway?

I don't see the point of duo queuing if you don't get massive MMR gains when you win, considering the opponents it places you against. If I wanted to just get "normal" MMR gains, why wouldn't I just solo queue in that case?

MMR gain/loss only cares about your opponent's MMR and whether you win or lose.

do you forget the fact that you and your ally duo buddy will have different MMRs and it will effect the average of the game you are playing so if I was Gold 1 and my duo partner was Silver 5 for instance and our MMR was average for our rank it would be around Silver 1/Gold 5 so for winning one person would be getting more MMR comparatively than the other because of the average MMR of the enemies they faced compared to their personal MMR because it isn't true that everyone gains the same MMR everygame it depends on there MMR compared to enemies average MMR.

Like I said, it cares about your opponent's MMR and whether you win or lose. You made my point. If your duo his a higher rank, your opponent's MMR will be higher. If your duo is lower rank, your opponent's MMR will be lower. Nowhere did I said that you and your duo would gain the same MMR.

there is no reason to duo queue imo until like mid diamond its just not worth it

Why is DuoQ not worth in low ELO? I am quite confused.

you get less MMR on average if you and your partner are the same rank more so if you are higher than them it is only really beneficial if there is a large difference in rank like silver 5 and gold 3 and its only beneficial to 1 if you lose the gold 3 would loses more mmr than normal aswell.

This isn't true. You MMR gain/loss doesn't care about being duo-queued. It only cares about your opponent's MMR and whether you win or lose.
