What to do after losing a ranked game?

I don't really know how the matchmaking system works with the whole mmr thing or whatever, but I was wondering what would be the best course of action to take after losing a ranked game. Moreover, I was wondering how to increase your chance of being placed with people that are equal or higher ranked than you if there is anything that affects that. Thanks

Honestly for me if I lose in rank I would play another game , and If I lose that game to I play some normals. It boosts my confidence so when I play rank again I would be remembering my normal game and not my rank game that I lost. Hope this help

you click play again. Also it works just fine when you play enough games to where you just sit in the same elo is where you belong

Take a min or two and think about the mistakes you made, the times to died, the cs you got at 10/15 and end game, also did you ward enough? and how you can improve on these. then just play again with that in mind.

MMR is like a hidden value rating. Assume the average is 1200 MMR and LP that you start with (back in s1 and s2).

1200 - 2 losses (20 each) = 1160. MMR will go to 1140 ish too. If you lose 3 more games in a row then >>

1100 LP but you could be at 1000 MMR (because you lost 5 in a row).

After you lose a ranked game, just keep playing. But don't play on tilt. You can't play with better people until you get better yourself.

If you lost that ranked game due to trolls on your team, play an ARAM. Helps you cool off and the game lasts long enough to stagger the matchmaking search and make sure you don't get in another game with those idiots.
