Help with Ranked.

Hello, I am looking for some help. I'm currently in Silver 1 and have already failed my promos once, and I'm 1-2 right now currently in my promos to Gold. I was in Bronze for most of the season, since I got a bit unlucky in my placements, but the season rewards are coming so I wanted to get to gold. It took me about a month (about 1-2 games a day) to climb out, but now I'm stuck in Silver 1. For some reason, I'm keep getting matched up against low - mid gold players (Gold 5-3) and the only roles I don't get stomped on are support and jungle. However, playing support feels like flipping a coin, since winning the game is highly dependent on whether or not our solo lanes get stomped. I believe the reason I'm getting my bum rekt is that since I have a pretty good W/L ratio, my mmr is high and I'm placed against better players. Is there any way I can solve this? Or do I have to grind games until my mmr drops and I'm able to get to gold? (I hate playing ranked so much but I need the golden swag border)

You can't do much about your mmr, so the only advice I can give you man is just play well. You want to be in gold? Earn it. Yea, it sucks to depend on your solo lanes, but you said you do well as jungle so play jungle, get one(if not more) of your carries snowballing and follow their lead. Don't think you can't win 2 in a row, just go for it and don't rage at yourself or your team, it really does make a difference. Good luck and wish you the best.

I know the feels bro. I was in your situation for some time. I managed to make gold 5 recently by focusing on playing Corki ad carry which i discovered i'm surprisingly good with. I won 3/5 of my games with Corki AD carry with only one loss.

By the way if you do plan to try Corki AD carry make sure you've got Blade and Spell weaving masteries.

Yeah I lost my promos. Better luck next time I guess. Was playing Morgana support, did well bot lane. However, late game I don't think I peeled well enough for my Lucian. Then again, its not necessarily my fault their Tryndamere is 13-1 with 3 lives. (Ult, Zilean Ult, GA) On the bright side, my mmr has dropped to low gold.
