Nashor's Tooth, is it a mistake?

Okay so recently I've been learning Elise especially for jungling. This is going to be my first year playing ranked as I have nearly reached my goal of 300 normal wins so I am trying to shore all aspects of my game up.

Nashor's tooth seems very enticing to me especially when I think of what it could do for her w in spider form. I find after an e and q in human I shift to spider for autos and q executes. I've only played against A.I with her so far but is nashor's tooth viable? Would Lich Bane or Trinity be better? Also would you build magus on her jungle item or the more health based one? I know alot of people like to make her tanky.

I often think about building it on Akali, Eve, and Katarina as well. I never see it mentioned on builds so I never do. Who the heck is this item meant for? I usually see it on shaco, but are there other places for it?

Also and this is slightly off point. I used to rush Morello on Ahri all the time before I started trying to get an early deathcap which has been very good to me. I like Morello on ahri alot but I don't see it built much. I know DFG is an Ahri must have to many but I prefer deathcap's massive increase. Also I always forget to use actives that aren't Zhonya's. Thoughts there would be appreciated as well.

The answer to your question is no never get Nasars on Elise it isn't viable. As an Elise junlger in ranked first get a health/mana jungle item since we just had a new patch (previously would have been spectral or golem jungle items). Second item should be haunting guise for the magic pen and good base health and AP stats from there you finish Liandrys for more dps or you can go into sunfire, randuin or MR depending on if your the only frontline on the team and how your situation is at the time. A viable elise build would look like Junlge item ---> tier2 boots---> Liandrys Torment -----> Randuins/Sunfire (both viable) --->and last 2 items will always be situaional vs 2 AP champs I would go something like Banshees and Abyssal vs all AD I would do BOTH Randuin/Sunfire and then a Rylais Scepter vs one AP you could go Abyssal and Rylais as your last 2 items for more dps. These are builds from pro level players that performed in NA LCS and at Worlds.

I would not recommend it. Mainly because Nashor's is very auto attack reliant. And yes she has some good auto attack steroids but it's not the most viable choice. She relies more on magic pen so that her Q does it's execute damage well. If you want good Nashor's tooth champs try Kayle or Diana. Akali and Kat aren't auto attack reliant enough to truly get the full benefit. Eve is possible but I wouldn't recommend it either because she's more of an ability user than auto attacker. (Spam the q).

As for Ahri, a deathcap/dfg rush is preferred but building Morello or Athene rush is perfectly viable. I usually try morello/athenes into deathcap into void staff. Hourglass is a good substitute for deathcap if you need the armor.

Nashor's is better for auto attack-centric AP champions like Teemo, but an Elise doesn't really want it. Her spiderlings deal more damage with every rank of her ult, and she already deals a percentage of her AP on hit in spider form as it is. Combine those two with her AS steroid and in a 1v1 fight she can shred squishies with a, E > Q > W> R(spider) > W > Q combo.

Don't build the Magus item on her, though, unless you have a dedicated tank in the top lane. And even then, it might not be the best choice. Elise's damage doesn't really come from her scalings as much as it does her base damages, so she doesn't benefit a whole lot from stacking AP. The best items for Elise are mixes of AP and survivability. She does much better building tank and magic penetration than she does building AP. A good build for her would be the tank jungle item, Sorc Boots, then a Haunting Guise, build a Rylai's Crystal Scepter, finish the Liandry's Torment, and then tank. If you want a bit more AP, since her Q does deal a bit more damage with more AP, an Abyssal Scepter isn't a terrible idea for the MR it grants, but in general she does well enough building flat tank after only one or two damage items.

I'd suggest that while you're still learning her though, hold off on building the ap items for later and build up your resistances first. You have to know how to handle Elise to know how best to survive without those extra resistances, and a good way to learn is to play straight tank Elise since it gives you a LOT of leeway to make mistakes.

Practice landing those human form Es and remember that your spider Q is a mini gap closer and you'll be golden.

unless you intend to do more than 3 AA per round often, I don't recommend it. go for burst. champs like teemo and diana is more suited for it.
