What to do if Jungle doesn't gank?

I've had some really great games recently but the ones i've lost, 5 losses in a row have been to the jungle not ganking lanes at all. What do you do about this? Is there any way to win lane without your jg? Their jg is ganking ALOT, meanwhile ours just sits in jg. Im not just talking about top lane, I'd like some advice on how to deal with this in every lane and every role, if thats possible. I really need some help with this! Thx!

Edit: Thanks alot for the advice guys i guess i gotta ward up a bit. I usually leave basr with 0-20 gold but i guess i gotta take the hit and not risk. Thanks guys!

Also another thing id like to add in. I know how to set up a gank letting them push in and small trading to lower their hp, but even with me farming under my own turret the jungler wouldnt gank for me. He would sit in jg. Sometimes they dont even build devourer, they just refuse to gank and get toxic on me for asking, claiming its my fault for losing when the enemy gets 2-3 ganks when i get none. How do i win this situation?

Ummmm the main issue is that your laners probably expect your jg to win their lane for them. The jungler has a lot of pressure on them. They have to maintain object control via dragon and their creeps. There is a lot more going on in the jungle than your jg afk farming. (unless they're packing devourer)

If your jungler is playing a farm jg who is using a certain stacking item then you shouldn't EXPECT a gank before 20 minutes. I'm not saying they won't gank. Some junglers just have really weak ganks pre 6 Warwick Diana. I see you're in bronze. People haven't really developed the map awareness for ganking at this elo. Your lanes are probably also tilting before the jungler actually gets a chance to gank or apply pressure as well. Nunu is a good example of a farm jungler. He maintains the jungle and can generally guarantee the first dragon not the best ganks if the enemy is pushed up to tower.

If your other lanes are pushing your enemy up to tower don't expect a jungler to gank for you. There are plenty of factors.

If you need advice add me and I'll spectate your game. I mean I'm only s4 but I did climb out of bronze so that has to counter for something. haha

The best thing to do is let the lane push towards your turret enough for the enemy to be pushed up but not enough for the turret to be attacking your farm and ping for ganks. Like I said before, if the jungler is using devourer they may prioritize stacks if it's a lane they probably won't get a kill in. The power spike provided by devourer kinda outweighs the prospect of a failed gank which is going to put them behind on stacks regardless of whether or not the kill occurs. This is assuming they have the presence of mind to see that it is possible to have a successful gank. Other lanes can gank for you as well but you need to set up a good ganking environment for them at the same time. This is just like what you should be doing for your jungler.

There are games where the jungler is just gonna have their head up their ass.

My main advice though, don't get stuck in this mindset where you blame a member of your team unless there is without a shadow of a doubt that that member caused the team to lose. I.E. flaming, feeding, afk'ing, etc.

That mindset kept me in bronze for the longest time because I wasn't playing to improve because I thought everything I did was perfectly fine. Analyze what you could have done better.

Sorry for the long post but I felt like a meaningful response was in order. <3

See who your jungler is. Ask if they plan to gank regularly, or if they gank before 6.

buy item 2043 x1 and item 2044 x2/3 and assume you are playing 4v5

Sometimes a simple ping for help does the trick, I had one game where I was busy with drag as the jungler and our top laner needed help told us by ping (the enemy jungler was up there) and our mid went up to assist. We got drag and we won the fight in top lane.

Tell him what is warded and what isn't, clear paths for him and tell him, let him know of important CDs (give him incentive to come to you!)

If he doesn't:

  1. Ward
  2. Beware of ganks because you know you aren't getting a counter gank
  3. Win lane on your own, or stall it if you can't win

It's a 4v5 and you probably lose.

Ward a lot and if you get camp and stay near your turret. Try to be less aggressive and roam to other lanes when it's possible. You might have to recall if you are below 50% HP to avoid tower dives. If they attempt to tower dive you, then run around the turret to make it harder for them to AA you. Also try to not waste your summoners, because you become more vulnerable to ganks and ping when you spot the enemy jungler to keep your mid laner aware. If your mid laner is struggling then help them, and in return they might gank your lane. Also play champions they have an escape ability, since this will make it harder for the enemy jungler to gank you.
