Guide: Facebook Friend Discovery

I've noticed there are some who aren't informed on how to connect their facebook to their league account, so here's your guide!

Step 1. Log onto your facebook.

Step 2. On the league client, click your "View friends list" at the bottom right-hand corner: it has a symbol of two figures. http://tinypic.com/r/5pg404/8

Step 3. Click "Add friend". http://tinypic.com/r/v8ngjq/8

Step 4. In the box that appears there will be the option to link your account on the right.

Click "Get started" and proceed to complete the steps asked. You are free to unlink at any time. http://tinypic.com/r/2yosq6v/8

From the FAQ: By the end of Pool Party. You must connect from 11:59PM PDT on 6/28 through 11:59PM PDT on 6/29 so we can unlock your Mystery Champ.

Expect it around the first of July.

Anyone know the reason why it says "try again" every time I click get started? Then when I click "try again" the whole window disappears and nothing happens. No clue what is going on with this!

This is not on the interface on the current client? A while ago I connected facebook for Tristana and Alistar or whatever it was and then I deleted that Facebook account. Now, I hit friends list and add friend but all that's there is a text bar to type in the name. Am I doing something wrong??

I'd say, submit a ticket.

If you deleted the facebook account linked to your league account and there is no option to re-connect, it is something Riot's support can guide you through.

most of the time it says try again but when it does work, it says "awkward seems like your account is already linked". but when i go back on facebook it still says try again pls help me

Have you connected your current fb to any other league accounts? If you have, you must unlink that LoL Account from your fb first.

If you have already connected, it could be a notification bug.

Always submit a ticket, if you cannot find a quick answer to your problem. Also, check the F.A.Q, it's visibly under the facebook link option.

Anyone knows why it keeps showing a windows says " there's an issue launching the Facebook app authorization window. please try again later or contact support" when i try to connect to Facebook???
