Can I be Demoted from Gold V? And can a brother get some help?

I was wanting to know if it is possible to get demoted from Gold V. I have just recently made it to Gold and I have done nothing but lose since I have arrived to this division. I like to think it's 65% my teammates faults, but I can't really tell since the team as a whole just fails as one ugly play after another. I had a much higher elo before I arrived to Gold, and played with much more skilled opponents while climbing Silver. If it is my fault, which I know part of it has to be, what is a good way to practice for ranked other thank playing ranked? One reason I play ranked so often is that when I play normals, Team Builder or blind pick, I play with very low elo bronzies or fresh 30's. So I just completely dominate and own the fields, but it's so easy that I gain nothing from it. It would really help to hear some opinions from the people on this matter.

If what you are asking is "can you drop tiers?" then the answer is yes.

If you are consistently losing then yes you can drop to Silver, but you cannot decay into Silver.

It was ORIGINALLY (Season 3, and maybe part of Season 4?) That you could never lose your way out of a tier, and only decay through inactivity. This resulted in Gold V having somewhere around 3-4 times the number of players it should've, as a bunch of people from Silver (which ROUGHLY covers the "better half" of the majority of ranked players) could get a hot streak sooner or later, and it could propel them into Gold... Which they were not suited for at all. That was fixed to TRY to address that, so that each division above Silver V had fewer people in it than the division below it. (Note that currently now, the V division of any tier is always more populated than the I division of the tier right below it... But at least it's no longer where Gold V was, say, more populated than Silver V)

As for why you're suddenly having trouble... Your actual ranked tier has, as far as I'd been able to determine, no DIRECT effect on who you get queued and matched up against. Do remember that for solo queues... Anyone put on YOUR team has an equal chance of being on the ENEMY team... So don't go blaming it on the teamates you get paired with; after all, odds are 5:4 that if there's a random other feeder thrown in... It'll be on the ENEMY team, not yours.

You can drop to Silver if you keep losing games, so basically when your MMR (hidden ELO) gets to Silver V. You will drop from Gold V to Silver 1.

Now, after the recent changes, you cannot decay from gold to silver. So, if you just NOT play ranked at all. You will stay gold no matter what.

Glancing at your stats, I think the best advice I can give you is just to die less. You tend to have really low KDAs and a ton of deaths even in games you win, which means you may be a bit reckless in teamfights even when you're winning your lane.

It takes (if i recall correctly) at least 5 losses in a row at 0 LP Gold before you get demoted. You should be fine.
