When should you start streaming you'r own gameplay?

i recently got into Diamond, i just wonder when is the right time to help you´r fellow summoners by streaming ?

Serious answer is whenever you want man. Takes a lot of time and dedication to get more than 2 viewers though.

This. Helps if you have someone who can promote you while you are streaming. Basically someone to spam different gaming sites and twitch channels.

It also helps if you're entertaining while doing it and explain what you're doing when you're doing it and why. Just be yourself and see what happens, Let us know how it goes if you do decide to.

Realistically, almost never. What do you have to offer that the dozens of Master/Challenger/LCS streamers don't?

To try to hit it big and monetize your stream?

Difficult, but the earlier the better.

I think it's easier to bring something new to the table than you make it seem. Many pro's and high level streams are only tangentially related to education; they might talk through their thought process in a game but that doesn't mean they're really trying to help people improve as a primary goal.

Even if that space were pretty crowded, I think there's still value in streaming educationally, since if you work on presenting things in your own style people might get something from you that they wouldn't learn from watching someone else stream if you put it in your own words.

I will say though that streaming educationally is probably a lot more work than streaming for entertainment. When you're just trying to get views you mostly need a persona or a gimmick for people to latch onto, and that serves as your content. But when you're really trying to teach people, you have to think a lot more about how you want to approach your stream and present your information so that it's as accessible and useful as possible.

This. I provide an educational stream since im a diamond 3 ADC solo que player but I always have to worry about whether my content is accessible by my viewers. Sure, I try to dumb down my commentary sometimes but then the high elo viewers get bored easily because I'm saying stuff that they may already know. My viewer count has always been unstable. I get an average of 5 viewers if i've streamed consistently for a week. But this is a pretty common case. If you point out the big educational streams like nightblue3, wingsofdeath, and trick2g, their view count fluctuates, especially when they're streaming educational content.

You can honestly stream whenever you want IMO its about how entertaining and how much of a character you are on internet. Most of the famous streamers are very funny and entertaining to watch, they are ver interactive with their viewers, and a little bit of education on the side. assuming you plan to talk and etc.

I don't really know about skill being important, but I will say this: People don't necessarily care about how good of a player you are, they usually care about how fun you are to watch. For example, if you sit in front of your screen muttering swears to yourself all game long, you won't get any viewers. If you are really quiet and just get really into the game, you aren't going to get viewers. You have to be entertaining, but not cheesy or goofy about it unless you make that your own special thing that you do (i.e. Cows wearing a cow hood whenever he streams is almost like a brand for him now). You need to be upbeat and talkative to be worth watching, because if you aren't, I'd rather just watch LCS VODs for the shout casting they do.
