What champion next?

So, I've been alternating mainly between Mid and Support since I started doing PVP games (I am level 18 as of now), and I seem to favour Ahri and Morgana for those two roles respectively. I feel I've gotten fairly decent at both, and I think I should branch out and acquire a few new champs with different mechanics I could try and get equally good at.

My pool right now is: Ahri, Annie, Ashe, Irelia, Jinx, Le Blanc, Master Yi, Morgana, Thresh, and Tristana.

I was thinking of picking up Syndra or Xerath and maybe Sona? Does anyone have any advice or opinion on what it the best route to take when learning either role?

Right now, i highly suggest you save IP to fill out an AD and AP rune page with tier 3 runes.

Malzahar and Xerath are my two favorite mid-lane champs.

None. Save IP, runes are a black hole for them. Also, I suggest you come to master a champion or playstyle before branching out a ton.
