Thresh summoner 4 summoner 3 item 3270 item 2043 item 3364 item 3143 item 3097 (upgraded) the other items are dependent on who is doing the most damage. If you need MR item 3065 or item 3102

This is how I like to build Thresh.

Hey there friend! So Thresh is one of the most versitile support champs in the game and becuase of that his item pathing is going to be "not so one size fits all." -Starting items is really where it your pathing can be either one or two viable options, you can run coin like the suggested items says or you can go shield if you are needing more sustain in lane, then you shouldnt start a ward btw, you want one mana potion and as many health pots as you can buy. -Your seccond item should always be sightstone, and i mean once you get 800 gold, you go b and buy it. And at this point you should change your yellow trinket to the red one. --------So from here is where your item pathing branches------ -if the enemy team has many or if any cc, you need to buy Mikael's Crucible -if your team is doing a 1-3-1 or even a 1-4 split push you should buy Banner of Command -If your team is lacking a tank you should be buying any good tank item, randuins, Locket, spirit vissage, banshees vail, righteous glory. These are all viable ------Those are i guess the pick one or two items-------- From here you should be buying tank items so you can stay alive and peel for your teamates who need it

I hope this helped! If i missed anything feel free to comment here or add me in game and we can talk about it more!

Not to say that zomie ninja war is wrong in his build down below, but you may or may not need Banner of command/Mikales at the same time.

go to mob fire and It will give you all the builds ant the top rating first. you can do this anytime I found it easy when I was a noob. but just reading a champion should get you an idea on how you want to play him or her. everyone plays different so just build him how you like. you can build thresh tank or damage. though the best if up to your play style and how long the game goes. thresh is one of the few great champions that get stronger the game keeps going with his soul collect. he is viable like nasus and veigar. were their statistics have no limit.

How To Support 101

This is mostly for "True Supports" or Utility supports. Champions who can rely almost entirely on their ability mechanics. Thresh, Blitz, etc. This doesn't hold as true for more Mage Supports or heavily tank supports.

For these utility supports, build order:

  1. Gold Generation Item
  2. Sightstone
  3. Anything you want

That's it.

I mean yes, individual champions may want some stats, but this is basically it. On Thresh, after you get those two items, you basically just want to build against the enemy team. Are they AD (item 3143 ) or AP (item 3102 )? Are they high damage (item 3190 ) or lots of CC (item 3222 )?

Admittedly, Thresh benefits from durability (either through health or resistances) because he likes to be in the middle of a fight. Hook, pull in to the enemy team, flay 'em all and then ult 'em hard. This puts him in a very vulnerable position, so staying alive is a big plus. But he's pretty flexible so you can do pretty much what you want.
