How to climb from silver 1 to Gold

1. Make sure your internet is perfect and no downloads will interrupt your game.
2. Make sure other outside factors won't interfere (dinner, shit, bedtime, work etc.)
3. Think about what role you're going to play and what you want to pick. Have backups for every role in case it gets picked/banned from you; getting last pick forced into your worst role with no idea what to use is the quickest way to lose.
4. Look at your recent match history; have you been low on cs, placing too few wards, dying too much? Keep whatever it might be in mind when you play so you don't do it.
5. Don't argue with your team no matter what. If they are toxic, mute them and don't respond.
6. Don't dodge your match; if you don't already know, dodging a promo match counts as a loss. It is better to just give a troll what they want and hope they don't throw your game.
7. It's just another match. Don't pressure yourself into tilting.
8. Don't make risky picks. Choose what you are best at. If your favorite champion is Swain but you suck as Swain, don't pick Swain. Leave that for later or Normals.
9. Check your Runes and Masteries and read guides to make sure that they are optimized. Get the most out of it, because a slight advantage can be the difference between which team is Aced and loses.
10. Remind your team to double check their active Masteries and Runes and Spells so nobody goes in with the wrong ones.

The rest is up to your gameplay. You can take your time doing your Promos, but don't wait forever; if you fail you can just try again before the season ends.

I got from silver 5 to platinum this season largely on support, and through silver I pretty much spammed Blitzcrank all day. And it worked lol

pick 1-3 champs to main and hone them then you'll break into gold ez
