Tips for Jungle Eve?

So last season I loved to play Jungle Eve, but I just haven't been able to get down a path that allows for it. From what I can gather she goes AP now, when I used to play the AD eve with BotrK into Randions, etc. Is AD eve no good anymore? It seems like late game it is just as strong but the early clear is almost impossible. I had one game where I got through my first clear just fine, but can't seem to replicate it.

I get that she isn't considered very viable anymore but I'm just a bronze scrub, so pretty much everything is viable if you can figure out how to play them right.

Any tips to make this jungler good again? I tried to watch the recent Gambit game when Diamond used her again, but they didn't follow him enough to get much info about what he was doing, and he started at the frog (Grom or whatever?) like I've tried. Maybe special Runes or masteries? Any help would be appreciated.
