I'm cursed

This is going to seem like whining which in a way it is, but at the same time I would also appreciate some feedback too. I am not that bad a player, however in ranked as of late i've been on a massive losing streak, losing 90% of the games I've played in the last week. I know losing and winning is supposed to fluctuate but at the same time I don't think this is normal. There is one game where I know the issue was directly my fault as I was unintentionally feeding due to a duo top and a Lee Sin that didn't want to give me any breathing room, so whenever I attempted to engage on my enemy Ziggs, he would be right there to kick my face in. The other games I feel I did fairly well and am wondering if anyone can spot something in the stats of said games that maybe a clue to how I may break this streak. I already fell from Silver 3 promos to being another loss from Silver 5 T_T. Any advice would be good, and please no obvious/derogatory responses like "carry harder" or "don't suck"

Thanks for reading and hopefully helping me to break this streak so I can stop feeling so close to Amumu Amumu

It's just this time of the season... There are a bunch of desperate players on forcing stupid plays and feeding because they're trying to miraculously jump from Silver V to Gold before the season ends. On top of that, there's an increased number of people trolling because they've given up trying to climb and just want to ruin everyone else's chances.

I had a similar losing streak, dropping from gold promos all the way to Silver IV. Every game seemed to have a DC, afk, troll, etc. I finally hit a good streak where I wasn't running into any of that and started winning 80% of my games instead of losing 80%... imagine that.

You might also increase your chances of winning games by narrowing your champion pool a bit... You've played 30 different champs in 68 ranked games. i don't know many Silver players that have mastered that many champs and most people only really play a handful of champions well unless they've been playing this game for a very long time. It's better to stick to a select few champions that you're really good with, than to try to play something different every game and be mediocre on all of them.

Thanks so much for answering, I know I'm on a bend + a streak but its hard to deal when you're a loss from S5. Theres one thing you mentioned that I have a response to, which I know is an issue, i'm just unsure how to address it really.

The main reason for this huge pool is some work better in other situations than others, and in specific match ups.

My main ADC champions are Caitlyn, Ashe and Jinx. Just because they're all strong laners and can do fairly well as ADCs

My main support champions are usually Karma, Sona, Morgana and sometimes Blitz (rarely Blitz still newish to him). Karma is my go to vs things like Blitz or Alister because she is really good at kiting and harassing, Sona or Morg (based off bans more often than not) for squishier opponents or against supports that I need to hide behind minions from (Thresh). Blitz is in case I need a back up, that has really strong laning presence. Also have been fiddling with Leona in norms a lot recently.

My mid champs are usually Azir, Syndra, Fizz, Viktor and again rarely Ahri (I can use her just not the best with her). I'll only bring out Azir as an assassin counter since I found he's great vs assassins like Akali since he can really harass her early when shes weak to delay 6 & ensure she has no farm when she gets there, plus Azir ult 4/5 times will let u outplay her since she can't ult across it (if she flashes the wall, E to the far side). If Azir doesn't fit I'll run Viktor or Syndra based off team comp needs and counters/bans. Fizz is if I need an assassin to counter my opponent.

Thats my reasoning for having so many champion picks anyway, also its worth noting to ignore my Ranked Team #s because some friends and I do troll comps and such in ranked teams often (like 5 supports which works supprisingly well, APC Sona FTW)

I want to like fully master all these champions but its hard to play them consistently since Azir works great vs mid ranged casters, melee mids, and top but pit him against a Ziggs and GL. While Syndra doesn't have a good time vs Akali, Karma is kinda suicide vs sustain supports or grab & kill supports, etc...

Any advice on like champions I should consider dropping (with reasoning too please) would be appreciated :)

Thanks again for answering

In lower elo, I've found that AoE damage and CC typically influence games heavily. I've had the best luck carrying games at mid lane, but you have to be confident in your skill and have good map awareness so that you can avoid ganks and roam to help your teammates.

I know you want to have a different champion for every situation as a counter-pick or whatever, but at Silver elo, it's really more important that you are just GOOD with your champions. I've played plenty of games on my main champions vs. "counter-picks" and regularly do well anyway because a lot of those people are choosing their champ based on what they think counters me, and not based on what they are actually good at (ie: people regularly pick Zed to "counter" my Ziggs, and then promptly get stomped because they lack the mechanics to play Zed).

Select a handful of champs (seriously, only like 4-5 champs or so) and keep spamming games on them until you have mastered them. Try to pick champs that will have a strong presence in every game and not champs that are selfish picks and can't do anything to help teammates. Of the ones you mentioned, I'd put focus into playing Syndra, Cait, Jinx, Morgana, Sona. The APs all have strong AoE CC for teamfights and good peeling. The ADCs both have a little CC of their own and excellent tower killing ability.
