Yasuo the Freelo Samurai

Yasuo the Feeding Samurai

you'll end up one or the other

He is really hard to play with. Yasuo's feed much more often than they carry. My friend for example plays Yasuo alot and still has games where he feeds like 2/10. It's really really easy to feed with him, but if you can master him he is a strong laner against mages and godly in teamfights. If you are higher elo, it's much harder because he is easy to focus in teamfights.

Top lane he's ok against bruisers because its so easy to poke with his q and can even win some all ins if you have some crit runes and start dorans.

I wouldn't spend 6300 on him though until you are sure he is the right champion for you.

With the truckload of nerfs he has gotten in the past, I wouldn't recomend picking him if your the only one with a knockup on your team. At the moment, I find him more of a "pick into a certain comp" champion.

If you have a Malphite on your team, go crazy. He is fun.

But he also isn't someone you should expect instant results with. He has a pretty high skill cap.

I like playing as Yasuo, but like the other guys here said, he has high skill cap, becomes more useful with knock ups from other teammates, and people can either carry the game with him... just as easy as feed the other laner. I have had a couple games in the past where I had a slow, but so-so early game, but I ended up negative by 1 kill, just because of the enemy team's composition. I was against a Riven AND a Darius in the Top Lane, but THANK GOD Riven DC'd. It was still a rough match up because Darius was able to get me with his passive, and all of his other abilities, especially his insta-KO Ult. Give him a go if he's free. I seriously recommend it. Just remember: build stattik shiv first with berserker greaves at around the same time, and build an Infinity Edge or Trinity Force after that. Once you have 50% Critical Strike Chance from your items, you will 100% Critical Strike all basic attacks, and your Q. Level up your abilities in this sequence: Q-E-W, with R whenever possible. Your W blocks projectiles for a few seconds, so if you see someone throw a skillshot that could be the end of you in a team fight, throw out your W to block it for you and your team mates. Hope this helps!

As a YASUO main I can confirm he is super fun once you're able to get the hang of him. Although he's hard to play in solo queue (teammates aren't positive mentally) but as long as you focus on your farming and roaming a lot (especially if ur getting whooped) its easy to come back from mediocre deficits. He has great wave clear due to shiv so once you get that item dont be afraid to go ham. Currently on two accounts Ihave at least 50 games with him and at least a 65/70% winrate. Hes also becoming less banned since ppl think he got nerfed to the ground, but the majority of games ppl end up regretting he wasn't banned because his burst wasn't nerfed but ppl see him as nerfed and his power is becoming more and more underestimated (talking bout bronze/silver and some gold divisions)

All in all, if you manage to become a decent yas player, games will not only be fun but theyll be fairly winnable no matter what.

i played yasuo and i have played against a yasuo. at first he was fun and can deal a lot of damage if played right but just like katarina he's squishe and can get really screwed over with some hard CC. but i wouldn't spend 6300 for one champ though yasuo isnt the best champ in league.

Just for his /Dance he's worth it to me. I don't main him by any means I simply use him as my fun goto champ. But I paid Rp for him and never looked back. Yeah he's squishy and has a hard skill cap but Nothing looks cooler than just sitting up besides your sword playing ur flute baiting ur enemy to even think about trying.

He is not hard to get down. Just practice like you do any other champ, dont feed then rape late game. It helps to have a teammate with a knockup
