I need to ask this, but I am not if this is the right board to do so.... So here goes, I am a level 10 and need to know how to get my XP/IP up quickly. A.I. battles do not yield much. And Aram and PVP waiting times seem to go on forever + I am unranked if that helps any. What should I do?
Easy bots between levels 1-10 Intermediate bots between levels 11-20 Normals summoner's rift level 21+
It does take some time, I played quite a lot and it still took me 2 months to hit 30.
The main thing to levelling is that Riot makes it so you gain more exp from winning so if you want XP fast, you have to win a lot.
One trick I find easy to do is to just play twisted treeline. Easy to win, good exp, fast games, no complaints.
You can purchase IP and EXP boosts in the store, but if this is your first account I'd recommend playing without. You're really going to need the in-game experience.
It terms of IP the largest chunk of ip you get for your time is the first win of the day bonus. Every 22 hours, your first coop vs ai or pvp win (not custom games) gives you 150 extra ip. Therefore, you get way, way more ip from playing 2 games a day, everyday (assuming you usually win at least 1 of the two), then you do playing 14 games on the weekend and none during the weekdays. If you dont' have much time to play, you should play one pvp game most days (you get more ip from pvp than bots), if you win you can stop, if you lose just play a coop vs ai game to get your bonus. Playing Dominion provides bonus IP for each game.
For my first acc, I stuck with bots till around Lv 15. From there I went to PvP. But that was before Aram. Anyway, I'd suggest leveling up a little more so that the system can figure it out faster. Someone here said that it's a little harder for matchmaking to try and match you with people of your skill, and I agree with that. So yeah, level up a little more and after a certain time, go for Aram. Much faster than PvP and less grief since all the smurfs I see wreck havoc in PvP.
