Whenever I watch a tp escape, I always wonder
why dont they tp to the nexus turrets? that gnar wasted 8 more seconds to back after

but when under the pressure to use TP as an escape sometimes I might not have the presence of mind to make the best choice.
I am pretty sure you can press the TP button then click the turret on the minimap though, so it's not really that hard.
TP escape is something I'd attempt less than 1 in 10 top lane games. Probably 1 in 15-20
Stray Kat1 votesI had a Gnar the other day that had 1 hit left and used TP to escape right as Kayle ulted him and Morg shielded him. Was a pretty epic escape as their entire team dumped everything on him and proceeded to get aced by the rest of us. But I agree, not a very reliable tactic. Though, I do use it in my shroud as Akali from time to time if I happen to have the spell with me.
