(New player) Best Lane for Anivia? Best partners?

Hi! I've only been playing LoL for about 2 or 3 weeks, so I'd appreciate the guidance. :) After playing as a bunch of different champs, Anivia's the one who resonates with me the most, and I plan to make her my main for now. From what I've been able to gather, opinion on where Anivia should lane is mixed; a lot of folks say she should be played exclusively as a solo mid champ, while some say bot/top, where she can be partnered with another champ that can stun or slow. In your opinions, which niche should I stick with? I usually play her as a mage, though I've tried a support build once or twice before.

Her primary role is mid lane. I play her there sometimes. But usually when I play her, I play her support bottom. If your teammate picks Vayne, Anivia support isn't a bad idea. Vayne's knock back can actually impale them into your own wall. Makes for good synergy. Gnar ultimate can do the same thing but usually Gnar goes top lane not bottom lane. If your jungler is Fiddlesticks and your top laner is Galio you can do a combo known as "The dreaded Venn diagram of death." Basically all of your ultimates make a circle and you can overlap the circles to murder people. Also works with Kennen ultimates. Trundle's pillar and Anivia's wall can be used in unison to dictate when enemies can engage and where they go. Trundle usually jungles. Lastly is Mundo. If you want someone with a spammable slow, then Mundo is your guy. Now there are champions Anivia struggles against. Basically anyone who has an ability to get over terrain or dodge an ability is said to counter Anivia. Fizz, LeBlanc, Kassadin, Zed & Talon all fall into this category. Ziggs is the only other counter who counters her without actually having to kill her. Anivia and Ziggs are both known for their wave clears. They end up going even once they both hit 6. Prior to that Ziggs will outpoke Anivia so usually Ziggs comes out a little bit ahead by this time. What makes Ziggs a hard counter though is that he can still help his team without roaming out of lane. He just tosses a massive bomb and poof he just helped win a team fight. He can also use his ultimate for taking out a dragon or if he can coordinate with his jungler he can "steal" a blue buff and then just outpush Anivia until she can get her own blue buff which she will have to leave lane in order to do so thus leaving her own turret vulnerable to Ziggs.

List of champs Anivia has synergy with: Ashe Vayne Fiddlesticks Galio Kennen Gnar Trundle DrMundo

List of champs Anivia struggles against (mid laners listed only): Ziggs Kassadin Leblanc Fizz Zed Talon Diana Gragas

What is your build normally? Just wondering because you can get tips on that too :) And when I play Anivia I play her support, but her damage is disgusting when played mid. If you like mid as a lane better than support, then play her there. She creates terrain, so she's great with champs like Poppy and Vayne.

Also, what do you normally max first? Second? I just want to make sure you're playing her right XD
