Hei everybody, I dont know whether this thread is suitable here but i got no other option, ok first of all I think im a noob because everytime i go solo in lane i get harrased to the point of getting back to the base just to get health even if i get 5 health pots at the start with no starting item i will be beaten down by the enemy pretty quickly, so i googled this problem to get a remedy and i found that almost all the champions i play are played by "late game champions" or something (I have no clue whatsoever) but I guess late game champions are champs that excel in the late game that is after 25 mins i guess, please correct me if im wrong however when i watch pro players play those champs they play them smoothly as ever even in the start and i dont see how they are harrasing the opponent but the opponents are getting harrased somehow where they both get the same amount of cs but in my case if my opponent harras i will be forced to go back to base and return where the enemy will be 2 levels higher than me before i left or sit back in turret till the minnions come inside the turret it wont happen easily so i will lack in cs as well and still the opponent will get 2 levels higher than me and will be able dilapidate the whole game for me then even the jungler wont help saying that this guy cant be taken even by 2 v 1 now, and when im even determined to harras and bust in his territory once im wimped out in early stages of the game the enemy will still hawk me and prove he is stronger than me. This happens almost all the time i play nasus, vladimir and shen So please help me :(

And here I was thinking they knocked down the Berlin wall...

But seriously, I totally get your problem man and I can try to give you some tips to help improve your game without having to sacrifice the champions you enjoy playing, because of course, the easy answer is to tell you to play better early game champions.

I'm not familiar with all of the champions you've listed but I am familiar with Shen.

Ideally for Shen, a good start is item 1029 and 5 pots. You'll want to take that in most cases. You want to start Q and for trading you literally ONLY harass with that for the first bit of the game. If the enemy is an unsafe distance away to harass or your getting poked, then you want to use it to farm instead and wait out those moments where you can throw a Q.

When there's low enough minions for the enemy and you're not pushed up to their tower, you can taunt and attempt an all-in if it seems favorable. You don't want to try to fight them will minion numbers in the enemies favor, especially early game because they will literally win the fight for your opponent because they do a lot of damage early.

Your bread and butter however is having them push you under your own tower. That's where it can get fun because if they try to push up and attack your tower, you can simply taunt them and they should die easily if they don't have flash. If they do have flash, they will be limping away.

A lot of it has to do with playing passive, focusing on farming and requesting ganks when their pushed up to your tower if you're not fairing well in lane because when a jungler comes in for a gank you can engage with E and they're in deep trouble.

My advice is to also do a little practicing in bot games or customs with farming under tower and trying to get that down pat.

What runes and masteries are you running?

What starting item do you get for different matchups?

Which champions are you having difficulty against?

Do you play other champs besides Nasus, Vlad and Shen? If so, do you run into this problem with other champions?

How much CS are you getting beat by at 10, 20, and 30 minutes?

The most important thing about fighting in a solo lane is poke when you can, and don't get harassed by minions. It took me a REALLY long time to learn that minions will win the enemies lane for them if you keep fighting around them.
