I'd like you to meet the secret for you to climb. item 3340 You two seem to be strangers. You buy it just so you don't look like a total noob as you walk out of your base, but for whatever reason you're trying your hardest not to use it.

  • XinZhao 46:01 game, 1 ward placed
  • Tryndamere 42:29 game, 2 wards placed
  • Tryndamere 20:43 game, 1 ward placed
  • Yasuo 39:26 game, 3 wards placed
  • Jayce 34:45 game, 1 ward placed
  • Yasuo 28:42 game, 2 wards placed
  • Taric (support, no-sightstone, no sweeper, upgraded yellow trinket) 52:15 game, 5 wards placed

Ward more. Honestly, I am flabbergasted you can be warding as little as you are.

First off, don't attempt to deceive yourself. The match you posted is far FAR better than your average game. You typically rack up a lot more deaths.

Second, they types of champions you play (melee ADCs and assasins mostly) typically MUST run away with the match of they end up as a detriment. You usually weaken your teamcomp with a lot of those picks, and need to make up for it by pulling ahead. So yeah, going even with those champs is often not good enough.

As Dr. Cyanide pointed out, your warding is aweful, like really terrible.

Advice: Dying a lot typically reduces your capability to carry a match. I know Bronze tends to be a tad... enthusiastic about fighting, but try to dial back the death-count a bit. You may find yourself being able to impact your games more when your not spending as much time staring at a grey screen. Either that, or try branching out to some champs that can carry without directly obliterating the enemy team. (Sion top, built as a tank, can win games just by being a brick wall that includes a Frozen Heart aura)

Final note: how do you buy a sightstone and place 3 wards in a 45 minute game?

Well it could be a number of things since we obviously cant see every choice you make from an after game score. Sometimes you may do well score wise but make bad choices and that can sometimes cost you the game. Other times maybe you didnt press your lead right. Like for example: You get say 2 kills, you could always roam to another lane and help them out with your lead. Another thing is share your power. No point in having 20 kills if when you die your team loses fights. After all even if fed you arent invincible you cant 1v5. With a lead try to find as many oppurtunities to help your team sometimes your hand can be the deciding factor if another lane wins or loses. There can be a huge number of things. Back when i was silver i focused on mechanics instead of decision making. Its a huge mistake being superior in fights to most doesnt help you when you make all the wrong calls with your lead or dont even use it. I may have had plat mechanics then but i would still struggle to win games. The moment i started improoving my shot calls or decisions i quickly got to gold within a week. The best tip i can give to you is play to improove not win or climb. If you set yourself little goals here and there and work towards them you will learn that skill much quicker and it will become habbit. As you do this you will surely win and climb more becuase youre getting better and better. Hope i helped you can feel free to add me if you need more help or want more advice. I dont know what you play but im a long time mid main since season 2 and i main Zed and Yasuo if thats up your ally.

Also keep in mind the provisionals place you close to where you were from the last season and pre season calculated into it. So you will probably get placed lower unless you win alot of the provisionals even so alot of them place you against tougher opponents so winning can sometimes be a challenge during them. I was silver last season and ended preseason in gold 5 and my whole provisionals was plat 5-1.

Score == win. You could be super fed, have good CS. But unfortunately, that does not determine how you got those kills, where you were if your team needed you, your objective control, focus in fights, and plenty of other things.

Angry Monster10/8/2015, 11:54:44 AM2 votes

your b4 cause you can not keep up in b3. well that was easy.

As long as you think it is all about kills you should be in bronze.

http://matchhistory.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/#match-details/NA1/1972758714/216759804?tab=overview heres a game i went 0/4/3 .. end result.. win

http://matchhistory.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/#match-details/NA1/1972431367/216759804?tab=overview heres one i went 2/1/4.. also a win

http://matchhistory.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/#match-details/NA1/1971919297/216759804?tab=overview heres on i went 8/8/23

heres the thing... i know how to play with a lead and close a game out.. and i also know what i have to do when i am behind. you dive in .. and go for kills all the time it looks like, when you get those kills you snowball.. if you dont get those kills you feed. focus on not dieing instead of chasing kills B when it is reasonable instead of push till you get ganked. or play like the elo that you want to be in.

in that yasuo game, your KDA is 7.0 but your average yasuo KDA is 1.7 so your average performance is probably not exactly as in that game.

i think your biggest problem is that you are delusional and completely deny reality.

on this website, you can see your average performance per game in a scale from bronze to challenger:

http://freelo.gg/summoner/NA/snapykill

seems like thats why you are bronze.

thanks all for the advice. its blunt but useful, so im really gonna work on warding and using getting ahead more effectively. i think i have been making better decisions in my last few games. considering my lower deaths.

EvilMerodach10/9/2015, 7:19:17 PM1 votes

item 3361 250 of the best spend gold you will ever spend in a game. And considering no one on either side had it..it would have been a huge advantage for your team to have at least 1 guy with double warding power.

Though your Thresh with item 3340 + item 2045 makes me even more sad. If you see a support with item 2049 and still using item 3340 , ask them to swap trinket out for item 3364 item 3362(the pink one) or item 3363

But work on remembering to upgrade your own 1st. Seriously, look through your match history, any game you were past level 12, and didn't have level 2 trinket of some kind yet, was a mistake on your part that could have potentially turned a loss into a win.

Edit: I said by level 12, but you can buy it at level 9, and in most cases you should. But sometimes you can delay it for a couple levels if there's something really important to your build you can complete that you couldn't if you used the 250 on trinket, rare, but it happens. But by level 12, you should have gotten it. No way you didn't have 250 spare gold at that point.

Looking at your lolking, you lose a lot of games despite doing very good personally. You should focus on more helping your team. Take more towers, roam more and things like that. Playing like a teammate instead of playing team deathmatch will help you go a long way. Sincerely, a jungler with a 95% win rate and a 3 KDA all due to assists. I go negative almost every game but rack up assists.

PS Use more item 3340 item 2043

TouchpadExpert10/8/2015, 11:36:03 AM1 votes

You're good at getting yourself an advantage but what do you do with that advantage? You should be looking to take objectives or give allies an advantage through roaming. Remind allies of objectives on the regular. Call out picks for the team. Communicate :)

Ralantha10/8/2015, 12:21:21 PM1 votes

Objective pushing is more important. If you get a few kills early in the game, you can buy a ward, help secure dragon and gank bot lane or roam top.

https://na.op.gg/summoner/userName=snapykill Seeing as your average ranked KDA is 8.5/7.5/7, it immediately says you do not go 15/3/6 every game. To emphasize your warding, or lack there of, you need to. You need to a lot more and you need to upgrade your trinket. You also don't really do damage. Looking at the damage charts in your games you're often 3rd-5th highest damage. If you really think you're creating an impact you should typically be 1st or 2nd on the damage chart. I'd say your cs is bad but thats probably average for bronze 4. You also have 46% kill contribution over 20 games, which shows you're not carrying at all, you're more than likely trying to pick people off than actually fight and push with your team. You also aren't great at many champions. Your Fizz is the only champion you have with an acceptable amount of games played to say that the 3.5kda is consistent. You have 30 games on Zed with a 37% win rate and are averaging more deaths than kills. Stop playing Zed. You can't play him. There are obvious changes you need to make to climb. I can just assume you're toxic based on the way you wrote this post and how you play the game. You don't have the game knowledge to make proper callouts and you don't know push formations.

Realistically the only way out of bronze is to be a smurf of at least gold/plat. Bronze players are not good, so you have to carry every single game to climb and you have to carry consistently. You can't do well one game then play bad the next 2 games and ask why you're not climbing. You have to have a lot of game knowledge to get out of bronze without being a smurf pretty much. People will disagree but it's my opinion and it's a sad truth. You can't be "just good enough" to climb out of bronze, you have to be exceptionally good and know how to carry the elo. I find it funny and ironic however that you play some of the best champions to climb out of bronze but you don't climb. Stop playing champions you're not good at. You have to admit you're not good at them and move onto other champions.

Play Fizz and Diana. Ward. Don't be toxic. Learn how to control the map and how to call for objectives. I just realized even when you support you don't buy sightstone OR finish your support item. Damn dude. Really? Sightstone should be in your first 2 items. Sightstone and boots man. You have a lot to learn if you want to climb.

JhomasTefferson10/9/2015, 12:38:45 AM1 votes

Upgrade trinket and die less.

Honestly, dying less is probably most important. I need to do it more. That will help you quite a bit. That and upgrading trinket. And try to buy at least 2 pinks a match, and a green whenever you back before you upgrade trinket. If you still can't climb, start worrying about where you put your wards and how often you use the trinket.

It won't matter how much you ward and pressure objectives at the right time, if an assassin, or any champ, can delete you easily and without fail, because they're fed and your 1 or 2 deaths put you behind, you're going to lose.

BluePolarizer10/9/2015, 1:01:50 AM1 votes

You are only getting this many kills vs. other bronzes. That is why you are unable to climb.
