Question: What do you do...
when your team continues to team fight mid and lose. Do you just give up on them and farm to later get flamed, or, assist them, in the hopes that you can turn it around?

If they're walking forward and initiating stupid fights in mid without any pressure on an objective then there's not a whole lot you can do to help outside of being there when they make their stupid mistake. Maybe you get a good engage and win the fight, maybe you don't.
Your best bet in that situation if you're strong enough is to flank from the side and maybe get a lucky pick on an enemy carry so that the stupid fight your team keeps initiating is at least a won fight. Maybe itll translate to a turret, but at a minimum you can get all the waves shoved so that your next fight can turn into objectives.
First off tell your teammates to stop sucking dick and listen to you.. Then say: Okay bitches, stay mid hug the fuck out of tower" While they are BSing mid push top or bottom for the farm and the pressure. Also tell them to get objectives and PROTECT MID AT ALL COSTS. Mid is the most important. and i looked at your match history and you seem to play mid a bunch. Try playing a more tanky champion and learn to play jungle. If your actually good enough you should be able to carry yourself out of bronze by being able to tank and 1v5 their team. I have found that it is best to follow your team, even if it is not what you think is best. It's better to fight a 5v5 teamfight than a 4v5 teamfight if you are behind. Of course, there are exceptions to every rule, but the more I play in low elo, the more I notice that sometimes it is best to swallow your pride and just do something that you don't want to do for the sake of the team. It is a team game. Usually if your options are help team vs. help yourself you should help your team.
