Four tips beginners need to know.
First off, I would like to thank you for taking the time to read this post. I myself am still pretty new to League of Legends and when I first started my biggest complaint was that any character that I began to learn was pulled from the following weeks free rotation. So I started to dig around online and discovered these four freebies that would enhance any "newbies" League of Legends experience and gathered them here for you. So without further ado, let us begin!
#1: Free Riot Girl Tristana Skin and Champion. That's right you can get a free Riot Girl Tristana Skin just for "liking" the official League of Legends Facebook page. And with all free skins, the champion is included! Simply copy this link "https://www.facebook.com/leagueoflegends/app_208195102528120" into your browser and follow the instructions. This is a widely known freebie; however, I have found that not too many players use Tristana despite her being a fairly easy champion to learn.
#2: Free Unchained Alistar Skin and Champion. Another widely known freebie unlocked much like Tristana. You can unlock the free Unchained Alistar Skin just by subscribing to the League of Legends Youtube channel. Copy this link "http://youtube.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/youtube/" into your browser and follow the instructions to unlock this champion. I actually had problems unlocking my Unchained Alistar Skin so I contacted Riot Games Support with the error message I received; and they we able to credit him to my account within 24 hours! Thank you Riot!
#3: Free DreadKnight Garen Skin and Champion. This freebie was a little bit harder to find and I believe that it is for NA players only? That aside, you can unlock this champion and skin by following League of Legends Twitter acount. Copy this link "http://woobox.com/scrx56" into your browser and follow the instructions. I personally am not a fan of "Tank" type champions but many summoners play Garen, maybe you will enjoy him as well.
Congratulations! You have now unlocked three champions for the price of FREE complete with shiny new skins. I recommend that you take the time to practice with these guys to learn the game and hopefully master a new champion before jumping into PvP at which point you will have plenty of Influence Points to purchase another great champion of your choice! Which brings me to freebie #4...
#4: Free 4 win IP Boost!
I haven't seen much about this freebie either but every little bit helps. Just by clicking on your name in the upper right corner of this screen and verifying your email address you will be granted a free 4 win IP boost. I recommend playing PvP while you have this boost in order to maximize your valuable IP gain. Losing a game will not cost you anything and I believe you will still gain IP for a loss?
