Nautilus

I try to main supports as much as possible in ranked I use Braum and Thresh as much as possible ( I like tank supports alot). Recently, in pub games I've been working on Naut support. The though has crossed my mind why do people not use him in a support role? Looks at his spells and passive it he makes a perfect argument for being a great supports.

The guy has 2 stuns a slow and a knock up not to mention that his w (if built correctly) gives him a shield that allows him to stay in battle . I've only been playing this game for 2 seasons now (this being the second) so I would like to know from any of the older players (at least game play wise) why is it no one is using Nautilus as a support is there something I'm missing? I feel like there's a potential for a very underrated support to make a big splash (Nautilus joke)

Nautilus is amazing. I've tried him in normals, hes really good. Landing a hook with an ADC that follows up is either a flash burned or a kill. His early game damage is huge even when solo, meaning if your ADC is forced to run or dies in a close fight, he can clean up, while Leona/Thresh can't. He scales extremely well late game, with a scaling shield, AOE CC and escape.

His weaknesses:

  1. plays like Thresh but has no poke.
  2. mana hungry.
  3. needs more items than Leona and Thresh to be the extremely tanky, moderate damage CC threat he becomes late game.

He's actually really good, he does a lot of damage for a support

I love Naut support and play him bot from time to time. He hard counters Thresh, because his hook is bigger. xD

Yeah, just keep using Nautilus support, and watch him nerf down like hell after what they did to Soraka as a top/mid laner.

Guess people never learned their lessons huh.....
