Most underated not talked about support on the rift? if not then why not?

I try to main supports as much as possible in ranked I use Braum and Thresh as much as possible ( I like tank supports alot). Recently, in pub games I've been working on Naut support. The though has crossed my mind why do people not use him in a support role? Looks at his spells and passive it he makes a perfect argument for being a great supports.

The guy has 2 stuns a slow and a knock up not to mention that his w (if built correctly) gives him a shield that allows him to stay in battle . I've only been playing this game for 2 seasons now (this being the second) so I would like to know from any of the older players (at least game play wise) why is it no one is using Nautilus as a support is there something I'm missing? I feel like there's a potential for a very underrated support to make a big splash ( joke)
