more than anything else. The issue I am having is that I only do good about 50% of the time. I can either be really amazing and 1v1 a 5-0 
, or I just fail.

IMO support morgana doesn't need that much damage, after you get zhonyas then it's more important to be durable, I usually get rylias or roa depending on how late it is, but HP goes a long way on morg. I've even gone full tank on her after zhonya's, sometimes it's what the team needs.
Buy a

Not sure why you'd want to 1v1 people as a support. Supports are not hidden carries. Lol Focus more on team utility and getting others fed. Only go for flat damage items if say you have a dced teammate or need to carry someone hard.
When I go supp!morg I rush sightstone then zhonya's and sorc shoes. On other supports I do mobility boots but they don't synergize with her ult well. If ever in doubt, buy a good health item or an item that betters your team's all-in potential like

morg isn't always reliable. just cause u can snare it doesn't mean u can disable. just cause e cancle cc it doesn't mean it will protect ur carries. depending on the team set up. if u see a yi. morg isn't reliable support. or against other assassin type. also I find her work better with skill shot adc then aa ones.

Get better at landing bindings, timing your spell shields, and try to get teamfight-winning morgana ults that either catch 4-5 people or the enemies' carries.
