Champion Recommondations
I am lvl 13 and i was wondering what champions you guys think i should buy. I have: Amumu warwick ashe garen(free) alistar(free) tristana(free) Please comment i am looking for fun to play and op champs

You want my advice? Hold off on buying any more champions! You're going to need ~15,000 IP to get your two basic rune pages at 30!

I would recommend finding a place that you would like to play, find a role that you really appreciate before deciding what champions to purchase. I am a mid lane main, so I bought champions that were good in the meta then. AFK Farmer is right and your rune pages will be important, but you can probably buy champions until you start playing ranked, then you really need runes.
I would say find a role you like, and find champions that you like from there.

I would like to start by breaking your thinking about 'op' champs. If a champion is top tier, but you can't figure out their kit, then their strengths don't matter.
I would think it better first to examine the lanes, and where you enjoy playing in the meta (already stated by UltoBlaknite). Then examine what fits there best. Top lane has the widest variety of meta, as nearly anyone can top. (Janna top beats Garen, btw).
Then, once you have your lane established, start playing the free champions that fit in that lane. Find a few you synergize with, and work towards the IP (RP if you got money to toss, as The AFK Farmer is right, runes are SUPER annoying to grind for) for those champions. Often times you'll stumble on someone you really find fun, and want to learn more.
IE, I was doing this exact thing when I stumbled onto Lux. I played lux for like 20 levels straight, only. No matter where. She's still my main to this day, and I can really do some good things with her. But I'm a mid main, and I specialize in magi.
Another thing you could do; I mod stream for a couple Diamonds that do free coaching :
