How to deal with toxic players? Please help

I've been playing this game for about 5 years. I've never experienced people being toxic so much until recently this summer. It's literally so bad to the point where I play with toxic kids every game. I try to encourage my team to work together but no one listens and everyone just starts saying some messed up stuff. These toxic players are also forcing me to lose a lot of games. I know I'm not the best player but it's just really frustrating. I'm currently at the very bottom of bronze 5. What can I do to help myself win more games? If I need to carry...who do I play to carry? I'm just really sick of being stuck in bronze 5. Any suggestion helps. Thanks.

Don't reply. Mute them. Then report them.

  1. Ignore them, by just not paying attention or muting. Both work very well against flamers. Act like you don't care, you are not a person who responds to these little shits. They are inferior to you. (note: This may not be true, but if you convince yourself that you are superior to them it's going to be easier to ignore them. A sweet lie is better than the harsh and distracting truth.)

  2. Play at night. Every little sack of salt is usually playing at daytime, especially in the afternoon from 1 to 8. If you're playing after 10 you're going to notice a drop of the rate of toxicity in your games.

  3. Not a toxicity tip, just for climbing up: I don't know much to say that helps you. I've never been to bronze so i don't know what is the situation there, but i can imagine it's horrible. You should probaly just play and play and play. Practice as much as you can, eventually you will improve. That is the most certain thing about climbing.

Muting toxic players is the common route.

As far as who to play, pick a champ who can split push and take down structures with ease. Don't pick anything that is too mechanically intensive. Suggested choices: Gangplank MasterYi Nasus Jax Udyr Singed TryndamereOlaf XinZhao

Well as everybody knows, someone who is being genuinely nice to you is kind of hard to get mad at. Whenever anybody flames me or is toxic I just pretty much ignore anything they say that's toxic and whenever they do anything decent, I tell them gj or wp. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't it just depends on the person. You might be really angry at someone (as most people do I get really frustrated and angry) but just remember that you don't know them in real life and that anything they say to you shouldn't matter to you at all, so just suck it up and be the bigger person.

Mute button. If your team is not paying attention bring along a good split pusher and buy lots of wards

Its really freaking tough to get toxic people to work with you. Like most people said the easy way is to stop caring. I've had years of experience motivating people so I typically can get most people to work with me but some people are just lost causes. The best advice I can give you is put yourself in their shoes and think of what someone could say to you to get you to change your behavior.

As far as carrying goes, CS is the key man. If you get a dominant CS lead you should be able to snowball your lane and possibly carry the lane. Practice in custom games on improving your CS numbers,

Mute them. If you don't make use of mute button, then you're an idiot.

I have never muted anyone. Ever. I just simply ignore their existence. I only talk to my team mates about the game and what we should do and whatnot. Don't give the immature idiots in this game your attention, they're children. Mute them if you must or simply just let it go, whatever negativity they have to say isn't worth your time.

Mute and stop caring.

There is one very strong approach with toxic players which is just muting them in my opinion, but this doesn't get around being able to carry them. Sometimes if tere is someone refusing to communicate you will have to put on big boy/girl pants and go hard carry, my suggestion would be to learn ad/ap hypercarries or split pushers both are very strong in your elo. Splitpushers like nasus and singed are both great but also champs like kata can carry games with ease if you manage to learn them enough, if you need help learning some champs feel free to add me im always glad to be able to help others.
