I have a pretty good example that I encountered recently. I was top lane Jarvan vs. Vladimir. Vlad is a natural pusher and I was giving him some decent poke with Q and an AA with passive up. He might've just been an awful vlad player, but I found a really effective way to get him to pool so then I could follow up with an all-in. All I had to do was drop a flag on him, but I wouldn't Q to it. He saw it as the threat and usually pooled thinking I was coming after him. So with his pool down I was able to really get up in his grill and finish him off multiple times.
