i want to use him as a support. Problem is I don't get to play with a thresh often , so im not sure how allies can interact withthe lantern.
what's the maximum range the alllies have to be within to be able to right click it? Can they click it when the lantern is on the other side of a wall?
Also if the ally right clicks it, then right clicks elsewhere on the map or just do anything else, will he still grab the lantern?
They can click his lantern on the other side of walls, if they click away from the lantern after they clicked it already, they wont grab the lantern. The best thing to do, Imo of course, is to play him in some co op games to get the hang of him and his spells. From one thresh player to another, he is really tricky to get used to in the begining, dont be discouraged. Best of luck!
they have to be roughly within melee range of the lantern. Once they actually grab it they cant move or do anything else but just clicking then doing something else is possible as it will cancel them from actually grabbing it. As long as their model can get within melee range of the lantern they can grab it but they can't grab it if they cant reach it. It will carry them over walls and anything that would be in the way. It takes them to thresh regardless of where he has gone or what he has done.
