Do Bronze teams know enough to allow a person to play Nasus?

Hi, 1st post. And yes, I make mistakes ALL THE TIME. So, now that that's out of the way I have a serious question. I've recently taken to NASUS top, and realize I need to farm an ungodly amount. It feels like I NEED to farm Q for at least first 20 minutes, if not longer. But, it always seems like my team wants to fight 4v5's so early and I don't know if I should keep farming or go and try to fight with 300 stacks? Also, when JG comes top when I don't want and clears 1 or 2 waves while I ping them back lol. So, what I'm getting at is can I play Nasus successfully in Bronze ELO? Should I just let them keep fighting a 4v5 until im around 4 or 500 stacks? Or should I tp down and help with 300 stacks? Serious question. I know I have a lot to learn, but also wanting to see if Nasus is good for solo que? Ty for your time.

You can play anything in Bronze. It doesn't matter if you play ADC Soraka, you just need to figure out how to win more.

Try to not focus on 'I need XXX of XXX before i can do something in the game'. That kind of mentality will lose you games probably more often than it will win you games. Ofcourse the stacks are important on Nasus, but when you are running teleport (which you should on nasus and on top), if you see a good play oppertunity where your team can get several kills because you can teleport bot or dragon even if its only 10-15 or 20 minutes into the game, do it. Get those early kills and team objectives. Don't be scared to group up with your team even if you don't have a ton of stacks.

Just having damage on your Q won't make you a unkillable god in teamfights anyway, you'll still be a bruiser/tank with 1 good damage ability that is in melee range. You will need your team if you want to actually be effective in fights, even if you have 500 stacks.

You can always get farm later, those turrets won't respawn every 2 minutes and that dragon will have a lot more effects on the game that those 2 minion waves you just got.

im only a bronze here so please be gentle with what i have to say. I play Nasus very frequently and average around 400 stacks 20min and i can say without a doubt that he is in fact very playable in bronze. One of the reasons i say this is because people dont know how to play against him. Even teemo and Vlad who make it really hard to farm early game as long as you know how to hit 80cs in 10 min it wont really matter/ Another thing is to freeze lane in such a way that you can freely farm without worrying about getting ganked. I run 12.5% CD at the beginning of a game and almost always build frozen heart 1st then boots. Other than that the last thing i can say is buy the time 20min hits you should have item 3110 item 3065 and buy then as long as you focused on farming and haven't died you should be able to ignore the enemy top laner and just take tower while they wack at you doing no damage, the only real concern with this is if you find smart players that actually go for the minions getting hit and move the turret agro. As long as you can get to the point when you can just ignore people through being tanky i get item 3078 and just take the entire lane the moment the other top laner leaves me alone in lane. (yeah i know my punctuation and grammar is bad im sorry) Im not saying i know everything about bronze Nasus but i try tp learn my best from watching Trick2G and SirhCez.

I think that you should be more flexible with what you need. 20 minutes can easily be 3 dragon, and its not fair to say I need X solo time and then expect your team to 4v5 objectives.

I play a lot of Nasus too I've been having the same question, and from what I've read and watched, it depends on if your team can 4v4 effectively while you farm. Alternatively, if the enemy jg camps top and shuts you down as Nasus, than your team also has to be able to recognize the lesser pressure on the other lanes and subsequently be able to push the crap out of them. I think it really just comes down to a greater amount of teamwork, which is a shot in the dark in Bronze from what I hear.

Should I tp down and help with 300 stacks?

You can, I'd do it if you feel your presence would shift the fight in your favor, if your team is running to the hills as it wasnt working then you push...push it real good!

Your q's let you push insanely fast and sometimes getting 1-2 turrets and forcing the enemy team to stop going after your team can be beneficial.

Ultimately it's something you have to decide. Try and watch the fight before you decide, if summoners and ultimates are used by the enemy team you can still teleport down even if your team is going away if you can be the janitor for your team and clean the scraps up.
