Need early game Yasuo help

Im really struggling in the early game with my Yasuo (ive decided to use him as my main). Ive watched plenty of videos about him and played a bunch of bot games with him, and I feel like I do "alright" in PvP with him but I never really seem to be able to get ahead of my opponent in lane.

I usually start boots + 4 health pots with my E, which I max first. I try to do two E's on minions then a third on my lane opponent as often as I can to trade but a combination of my opponents damage and minions I almost always lose the trade. The best case scenario im usually in is that I have a little more farm than my opponent but they usually have kills due to jungler ganks and sometimes my own misplayed all-ins.

I really like everything about Yasuo, so id hate to have to not main him, but if I cant even manage to do well now im really in trouble when I hit max and play against experienced players.

Yasuo main here, really depends on the matchup to be honest, if your fighting a mage or something, which yasuo is best at fighting against, make sure your passive shield is up for a trade at level one, dash through 1 minion and AUTO them, dash back, your shield should help you win the trade, let me tell you, yasuo destroys any melee ap laners like katarina, ekko, fizz, etc, when you play against these champs you MUST be aggressive, dash through, Q them and auto them, and so forth, just be sure you don't waste too much time, some mages can really mess you up with their full combo, you have to juke it and trade back when their on cool down, most of the time, usually skillshot mages, but yeah..
