Can someone suggest a mid lane champion?

I'm just looking for 1 mid lane champion that would I could be decent with. I rarely play mid lane and just looking for someone easy. I'm probably one of the worst mid laners in the world. I don't know why but seems like every mage I try I usually fail with.... I'm horrible with champions with stacks like Annie and Vladimir. Can't do melee mid lane. Azir, Lissandra are too hard.

Is there any "easy to master" mid lane champ anyone could suggest? :( Thank You for all advice.

Dude, MALZAHAR. You simply can't lose with him. Even if you feed early, you come back and REK everyone. Q - Silence people with tones of dmg W - Lay a pond of darkness dealing dmg E - Places cancer on enemies that spreads to the nearest enemy after killing the one it's on R - Roots people while continuously dealing dmg to them Passive - Every 3 abilities or so you spawn a little spider thing that does tons of dmg in lane. BROKEN ! Malzahar

Lux Super long range. Very safe. Good early game, good late game. Strong right now. Morgana Simple kit. Very similar to Lux. Can heal off spells. Immune to crowd control. Karma Lane bully with gold. Simple kit, strong early game. Utility based (easy transition if you main support)

Xerath Swain Karthus are relatively easy champs to pick up, and have exploitable strengths.

Malzahar , like the other guy said, is also a good pick-up.

Heimerdingerhe is easy to learn and really good if you get skilled Morgana safe to just farm and tons of damage if you ever hit anything

there are lots of good mid laners those are just the simple ones I could think of

I was going to suggest Lissandra but maybe you can try Brand. He's not that hard to play and can farm safely. Also like a few people suggested, Malzahar Morgana Swain are quite easy to pick up.

Xerath is a ton of fun. Quite easy to learn and your enemy will find it difficult to get close enough to you to do any damage. He out ranges essentially anyone in game.

Also Malzahar is probably the mid laner I've had the most success with, he's super easy to pick up, the ultimate lane bully, and can delete almost any champ in a 1v1 if he gets his combo off. Great pushing strength, Never have to worry about mana in lane, and he can also farm jungle by himself at a very early stage for extra gold.

Personally the first mid laner I learned to play well was Kennen. Hes a great lane bully and you don't see him incredibly often so a lot of people don't know how to respond to the constant poking and stunning- depending on what skill level you're playing at.

He can also be played as, or more successfully in top lane, it's nice to be good at a champ that can play in either solo lane well. He's also a safe pick:

Passive: Stuns and gives you energy every time you place a third mark on a target (each ability adds a mark, each 5th attack adds a mark, ult adds three marks in close succession)

Q: Medium range skill shot W: Does AP damage and adds an additional mark to all targets who are already marked...has great range. Also causes each 5th attack to deal bonus damage based on AD. E: This is why he's a safe pick- almost as good as flash on a like 20 second CD, also gives a small Armor/MR boost. R: Deals massive damage and adds three marks to everyone in range, stunning them. This is another reason he's safe, if anyone tries to all in you, or you get ganked, simply ult and E--> escape, or kill them. Has a lot of potential to turn even a 2v1 gank into a favorable situation.

The problem I've found with Kennen is that all too often my team mates underestimate my ult and fail to follow up after I dash in and stun everyone. You're choice of items is also a little bland early on, you essentially HAVE to rush Zhonyas unless your team can eat the other team in a team fight without relying on your ult (rare). In those cases you can have a little fun and build pure damage or even hybrid...Gunblade, botrk, nashor's, etc

Akali is also great fun if you can get a couple kills. Requires a little more skill, but has always been one of my favorite mid laners.

Although you are not a fan of melee champs in mid lane, try Zed. He's not as easy to master as other champs like Annie, etc but he's my go-to guy whenever I need an easy laning phase

Zed

  • His passive makes CSing brain-dead easy
  • His kit allows for easy poke and flexibility (you can escape many situations)
  • His burst (WEQ) is strong
  • Has no mana so you don't suffer from the traditional mana problems (though you will only get to do Zed's burst once and a while until his energy charges back up). That being said, you have more sustain because you don't have a mana system (if you get Cutlass as first item you also get some HP sustain from the 8% life steal)

I find Zed to be pretty easy to play. Being accurate with his Q takes some time but you should definitely try him. Really, the only time Zed is "hard" is when you have to be innovative when using his ult and have good accuracy with his Q. Other than that his skill cap isn't too high.

Other than that, try

Annie

  • Her passive, over time, gets easier to micro(manage)
  • Her mp-back Q makes CSing with her super easy
  • All of her skills are point-and-click
  • If you're having trouble laning with her, getting ganks with Annie (and TF) is really nice. You just need to stun them and the jungler will walk in and kill the enemy
  • Her combo isn't hard; just RQW (assuming you have stun on)
  • You can literally play as passive as you want with Annie. Again, you will have infinite mana if all you do is last hit with Q. Just play super passive and wait for jungler to gank

I like Ziggs. He was the first Mid laner I picked up that I really started to have some solid success with. He has some rough matchups, (just played a Karthus that was hell,) but because of his longer range abilities, he can usually out range a bunch of other mid laners, especially the melee assassins that are so prevalent right now. Last hitting with Ziggs isn't too hard either as his passive gives him an empowered auto attacks every 12 seconds or something like that.

He's a risky pick but KogMaw is certainly fun. You need to weary and pick it in a team comp with some good protection but Kog'Maw's range and damage output late game is pretty much unrivaled, especially once you get Luden's Echo.

Heimerdinger Heimerdinger because almost no one knows how to counter him and he's incredibly hard to gank. He can beat a Yasuo out of lane.

Heimerdinger Mr. poke you to death. If I were horrible at mid lane, I'd pick someone who is either really good at pushing like Morgana or Velkoz . or Lux ...cuz she's LUX, but Annie probably has an easier laning phase because of her range.

I would say Ziggs or Xerath as long as you are decent with skillshots and you are looking for an easy time mid. If you're having a tough time against your opponent you can farm with their abilities easily at range while still contributing to fights with long range aoe damage.

Katarina -easy, point and click spells. Some like to be funny and say just roll your face on the keyboard-PENTAKILL! Karma -High damage that a lot don't know about, nice shield and root. Great mid laner. Morgana -Her snare can be hard to hit but she has damage that some mid laners underestimate, and has safe laning phase with her shield and ult.
