Help Understanding Ranked Games and Ranking Up

You have the 6 main brackets consisting of, in order from lowest to highest, bronze, silver, gold, plat, diamond, master, and challenger.

Challenger and diamond work a bit differently from the rest, but really all you need to know is that they make up less than 1% of the playerbase.

The remaining 4 brackets are then further divided into 5 segments called divisions. So bronze 5 is the lowest, and diamond 1 is the highest divisions.

Each disioon has up to 200 people, and each of them has lp. Lp is from 0 to 100, once you reach 100 lp, you will then play your promotional series of either 3, if you are moving from one division to the next, or 5 if you are going from a division 1 to 5 of the next bracket.
