looking for some assistance,in not sucking so much

I love this game, i'm currently silver IV the best i ever was was gold, i fully admit that i suck, i want to get better but i feel as though there's no way to, I've tried watching video's and practicing and trying to apply the messages they give off, i also i'm an avid fan of the LCS, i also watch them and ask WHY they do certain things, honestly i understand the game as far as things like not dying is more important then killing, kills should be followed up with objective focus, CS is the most efficient way of earning gold, chasing is not a good idea unless you are confident and have adequate vision/knowledge of the enemy's whereabouts, i understand composition and win conditions, my problem is i can't seem to actually apply a lot of the concepts, I feel that at my current elo (witch, i admit i belong here at my current skill level) I don;t get punished enough for my mistakes, witch my personal video game history is how I've leaned best, that or someone coaching me, i really want to get better, this game is what i choose to do when i have ME time( 2 kids, 2 jobs not always a lot of that). ANYWAY long story short I'm looking for skilled players who would be willing to help me out whether it's advice or even playing with me, 1v1ing me coaching, etc. I'm willing to accept anything really,

well if you are an adult with a job or even two, you might be willing to afford some professional coaching.

also, you get punished super hard for every mistake in league as even a small one can lose you the game 20 minutes later, its only that you dont notice it or you do notice but you neglect its importance because "team" or "i won my lane" or "omg jungler" or "well, whatever"

Hey kidoffire. I totally hear you. I used to be an avid gamer until I got married and needed to work a real job. Unless you are magically able to create more "ME time" to practice the game, it is really difficult to improve much beyond gold.

I don't know if this works for you but what I did was change my goals while playing. The most frustrating thing for me was I know a lot about what you are supposed to do in game from watching the LCS but my mechanical skill isn't good. I was always playing with people who don't proiritize the correct objectives and play in a disorganized way. I had watched a casual youtuber make a successful play group by making youtube videos of his games and people he would meet and built up a community of players who used in game voice communication to have more team oriented play. They weren't the best mechanically but at least all were on the same page as play like a team.

For me, the game is SO MUCH BETTER when you are playing when you are at least trying to play as a team. Right now, I am trying to re-create his model since he no longer plays.
