How to deal with super tanks?

So lately I've seen so many people playing Sion, Nasus and Cho. Especially Sion, no matter what I do in lane he just destroys me after his first purchase or two. He is so tanky, does a ton of damage and has so much cc. How do you deal with them? They normally first back specters cowl and I can't even trade with them so then I feel like I'm better off just saving my mana. But then they just keep getting out of control What can I do to shut them down?

Either play someone tanky who can build damage early, or someone with good base damages and can build defense while still doing damage. That or make Top lane a wet noodle fight, and hope to outscale them late game.

With sion you have to try and push him out of lane zone him the minions with high early damage and zone him away from the minions If you can do this you have already won and just need to watch out for the enemy jungler via wards If you fail to do this and he gets his early advantage its pretty much a lost cause unless you think you can out play him, try and create plays around the map to get your team fed

DPS Champs are usually your dedicated anti tanks. If you want to win against a tank, do NOT pick into a strict burst champion unless your burst is extremely powerful in the early game (before a tank's stats can scale).

Powerful zoning potential also can shut down a tank hard. If you have a natural lane bully like Garen, the key is to position yourself aggressively so that the enemy laner "can't" get CS, usually done by firing your abilities the moment they get close.

DO NOT pick burst champs that need time to scale and DO NOT pick weak laners. If you don't have the early game presence to kill them early, a tank can literally just ignore a burst champ in many situations. Furthermore, if you can't do anything to stop a tank from farming, this simply allows the tank in question to scale just as fast as you can and often fill a much bigger role for their team.

I'd tell you, but I hate people playing AP mid laners top lane.

Build % damage against them?

Also, Magic hurts those guys early. Use that kind of damage.
