Okay so...
I used to be pretty good with viktor, and then he got remade, and his Q just seems so terrible now, but maybe I just need to play differently.
how do I make current viktor work well early game till you can reach his late game power? Since his Q has been more or less nerfed for early game...
Harass with Q early game and cs with E until you get mana items, then do whatever you want
i run mana yellows so i can generally spam with a dorans or two and his first upgrade as much as i want.
but you should try viktor top where you max Q frist, you come out ahead on a lot of trades, you would be surprised (so long as you are the one initiating).
if you want to focus on the early game, its really a good idea to get MS quints so he can be safer and dodge more incoming damage and escape from ganks easier. in the early game i focus on csing and dodging until first upgrade and codex, at which point i focus on wave clear with upgraded level 3 laser, its so easy.
