Needing some advice

Hey guys be forgiving because this is my first time posting on the board but I guess the community is the best place to turn to. I love league of legends. It has been my (possibly unhealthy) passion for almost the past 3 years. I can confidently say that my mechanics fine. But I have such a huge problem with rage. So bad that it is beginning to affect me outside of the game. I'm not going insane or anything but it is becoming a problem. It's almost to the point that I don't enjoy playing anymore, and this eventually leads to me going on huge tilts and I CANNOT work my way through it. I can be the happiest person in the world. Lose even just a normal game and BAM. I just flip out and it's been getting worse. I've even uninstalled and taken breaks for extended periods of time from the game to no avail. I appreciate any feedback or CONSTRUCTIVE, let me say that again, CONSTRUCTIVE criticism that the community has. Because I am guilty of a trolling and intent feeding and raging when a game is looking bleak and I always feel terrible and silly after doing so. Please, help me enjoy my favorite game again.

League of Legends is a strategy game. I personally believe that an intellectual approach to the game is the best. If you get out played, try to appreciate how your opponent handled the situation.

If you can't appreciate or enjoy playing the game, just stop playing it permanently. That is the best advice I can give.

I would agree with Rasv, If it isn't fun, don't do it. It will just frustrate you even more.

it's not the game. it's you. We can't advise you on how you should conduct yourself since we don't know you. You need to figure that out yourself. How I handle my rage sometimes is to just yell out crazy profanities.

Well if you admitted you behavior, then that's one step closer to achieving your goal! Just take it as a game and nothing seriously. Play some relaxing music in the background. You can also go running/jogging/exercising and play League when you come back. This way you'll be more exhausted and you might not be so edgy. Maybe try playing other game modes as well when you're on a loosing spree?

Get drunk, works for me. Most of the time you either end up having a ton of fun and even frequently playing really well, it's like snowboarding or playing music live, a little buzz gets you loose on point.

Hey guys thanks for all of the feedback! I guess it's not such a good idea to play on an iffy day either that's for sure.
