Question about yi's abilities

I was wondering if whether or not Yi's Q (which is where he teleports between enemies) does more damage when you activate his E before hand. Any reply would be appreciated.

I haven't looked it up myself, but it doesn't seem like it does. Your auto attacks right after your Q will use it of course, so at least keep that in mind.

according to cowsep, mastery yi pro dude, wuju style does not increase alpha strike damage

Alpha Strike doesn't deal on hit damage, which is what his auto attacks benefit from when his E is active. If you need further clarity than that, read the specific details on the description for his Alpha Strike:

"Active: Autoattacks deal bonus true damage for 5 seconds. Afterwards, the passive bonus is lost until Wuju Style is off cooldown."

Autoattacks. Meaning you want to use Q to close the gap, then after the Alpha Strike is finished activate E to finish the fight. And R to run like a bitch because that's all a Yi player is.
