How to handle a 1v2 lane as ADC?
I played an ADC game today in which my support Blitzcrank spent the majority of laning phase roaming the map and ganking lanes with our jungler. Now, Blitzcrank did a lot for our team and I didn't really have many issues 1v2ing bottom lane (aside from missing some CS that was too risky to take), so I don't want anyone thinking that I made this thread to complain.
Basically, I'm just wondering if anyone has any good tips for handling a 1v2 lane as ADC.
Typically ADCs start Doran's Blade for more combat stats in all-in fights and for sustain, however you can't reliably autoattack the minions in a 1v2 lane. Would Long Sword, Doran's Shield, or even Cloth Armor be better starting items for the passive sustain and/or damage mitigation to help you survive?
What champions can handle a 1v2 lane and defend their tower? Off the top of my head, I think the following would have a decent shot, but I'm wondering if there are any other suggestions:

Would it be worthwhile to rush early sustain to help survive the lane if you are having trouble, such as Bloodthirster or Blade of the Ruined King? It might leave you with less damage until you finish your second damage item, but the sustain could allow you to stay in lane longer to farm.
are probably the best adc's for this scenario
