CS EVENLY, WIN LANE BY KILLING THEM.

I'm tired of these lame posts trying to tell you to cs better, yea the first 10 minutes are important if no one is fighting because YOU CAN'T KILL ANYONE, so what do you do instead? Farm it up! Tell me what the point of trying to farm an extra 20 cs is rather than trying to crush your lane? Yea, it's 1 more kill than them but guess what if your lane's even, IT'S EVEN: FIX IT. Here's why you end up with more cs, past the 5-10 minute mark: Fear, they fear you and will not dare to push past where their closest tower is (or was >:D); and if you're consistently pushed it means you want to get ganked and because you're so far ahead because they fear you, they try to help with that gank. Well guess what happens next: you double kill the enemy bot lane because counter ganks and cleaning up is better than diving them under tower, and enemy jungler (think sejuani pre-tankiness and dmg) runs away as if he just baited his bot lane into feeding... because he did. Crush your lane then crush the jungler, then crush them 5v5. Oh hey look i have 100 cs more than my laner and 10 kills up!

If you're not trying to kill your laner, are you even playing to win? Why not try to kill them? I mean think about it, do you know how easy it is to die because they decided to make a play before you did? "Welp now me and my support are dead varus/cait/ez is 4-0 and we're both sitting at 0-2 BUT I'M 40 CS AHEAD!!!" Too bad you fed them your lead >:)

DON'T PLAY PASSIVE, and don't fight them in large minion waves.

Or you just play off of their mistakes since its low elo and win without taking risks for easy wins? Can't always just play stupid aggressive there are alot of factors. Also its good if your team is even its easier to carry

Maybe in really low elo, playing passively is EXACTLY what you need to do.In what WORLD would you choose to fight an early game champ as a late game champ, why would you lose around 5 cs just to fight and maybe even lose.

I get what you're saying, but you're missing the point a little. Let me explain how I see it.

Let's say you have two challenjour players that know how to play their champions perfectly. They have played out this specific lane matchup, and know the exact amount of damage they need to do to kill their opponent. One champion will always be a little (or a lot) stronger at different points in the game. Simple example, think about the Caitlyn vs Vayne ADC match up. One is a lot stronger in lane during the early levels than late game with 6 items, comparatively.

So why does this matter?

You farm patiently (and perfectly) until you know you can kill your opponent. And then you farm aggressively and dig them even deeper into a gold/experience deficit. But the waiting is the part I think the OP is missing. You can't always all in your lane opponent and win. Sometimes you need that window of opportunity to be there first.

The main issue most of those "farm better" threads are bringing up is that the vast majority of the playerbase doesn't farm well. There are 100 cs on the map by 10 mins. I had a guy in one of my games (normal game, not ranked) who had 160 cs, and 3 completed items by the end of a 48 minute game. That's horrible. These players are leaving a ton of gold on the map and making it harder for their team to win. Each creep gives ~20g. So 15 creeps is the same as a 300g kill. You can win lanes by out farming your opponent this way. You can win lanes by killing your opponent so they can't farm. You can do both and climb the ladder really fast.

Does that make sense? In your 4-0 vs 0-2 example. 4 kills is about 1200 gold. 40cs is about 800g. You're losing the lane by 400g there.

To add onto this: power farming usually begins after you get your waveclearing item: shiv, iceborn (for ez?), cait/graves dmg to oneshot creeps, This is post the 10 minute mark and only if you have the ability to push farther and beyond where their tower used to be and get away with not letting them push the same distance back. Phasewalker utility for mages is op for splitpushers.

I'm an Anivia main and I get shit for not having a whole lot of cs the first 15 minutes. I almost always crush my lane and when I say something like "cute counter pick bro" to Kassadins, LeBlancs, whatever assassins.

They usually reply with "Yeah too bad your farm sucked in the beginning"

Dude, I'm Anivia. I can farm easy as the game progresses I'll continue taking advantage early game by bullying my lane.
