How do I 1v5, aka carry?

I main ap mids btw. I am trying to learn to carry from gold 2. So I've seen these conditions in 50%+ of my solo games.

-non communicating team ..................................-well organized enemy team -we have ok vision if any ......................................-enemy team has huge vision ................................................................................. -sometimes fed

The other % of my games I see one of our players getting fed and carrying and/or teamwork.

Things I found to help: -Not to depend on team mates because they are very unreliable. -Not to put yourself in danger for others if you are a carry (and I mean in danger, if there is no danger certainly help) -If kill stealing helps you AND you are a carry, do it. -Long range or very mobile champs are the best way to go, MUST have 2 cc

Any other tips anyone can offer? Even with these out playing an organized team seems impossible as an APC. I need more knowledge. And finally, I am out of the loop at the moment. What are some of the stronger mids now?
