I was wondering if anyone ever tried to get Spell Vamp Quints on Malzahar instead of AP Quints... You would lose 15AP early game for 6% spell vamp... Will it be worth? Malz "e" can extend of a long period of time, I was wondering if he would spell vamp on every minions dying out of his E ?
Well, just wanna know if its worth you think since adding AP items is easier than spellvamp one.
put it this way, 6% on 100 damage is 6 health, you would gain 6 health back. thats why i run MS quints, stay health, dodge more, chase/escape more reliably.

needs as much starting AP as possible (unless you're building him AD that is).
Mid to Late game it is feasible to build 
for some nice health sustain
or 
to give your minions some love.
I build spell vamp on him but i really dont know why with Ryze and Akali, spell vamp is noticeable..to the point my bursts can briefly out heal their damage but it feels so negligible on malzahar, idk

Think about this, you either have enough burst to 100-0 some1 or don't.
1st scenario everything good and you didnt need spellvamp
2st scenario u are fucked and spellvamp wont help u with that.
Hibrid pens are good tho
