If I as a jungler don't gank your lane frequently, it's not necessarily because I don't like you.

Sometimes, after finishing a camp, there will be two pushed lanes -- top and bottom. I will probably gank the lane I'm closer to because if I go to the other lane the situation may have changed by the time I get there.

Other times, despite being closer to your lane, I'll see that you've pushed your opponent under his or her tower -- and I don't always like to dive an enemy who has full health while they are sitting under their tower.

Sometimes, even if the opponent has pushed to your tower, when I look at the map the enemy doesn't seem to be around. At that point I may commit to another task. I'm sorry if they were merely hiding in a bush when I looked.

Even if the enemy has pushed and is present... sometimes I have no health or mana and would only feed if I came to gank. I'd like to be able to gank and help you win your lane... but I can't always be of much assistance. And sometimes when the enemy has pushed and is present... you're not there. These things happen. We all have to return to base sometimes. It's nobody's fault that we can't all be everywhere at once.

Sometimes, when I come to gank, you might not help me for some reason. Other times I might miss my skill shots or combos. These things can happen. Nobody's perfect. Just try to persevere so that we can pull it together during the late game.

If you're getting pushed around in the top lane... sometimes I might not be able to gank because I'm killing the dragon withe middle and bot laners. I'm sorry, I'll try to gank at some point in the future if I can, but objectives sometimes need to take priority

Some opponents also ward very well and can play in a very slippery or cautious manner when the jungler is around. I'm sorry if I come to your lane and can't make something happen.

Over the course of the laning phase... all of these events may occur in a single game. Quite serendipitously, during any random game, I may not come to your lane very much at all. It may seem like I'm intentionally ignoring you while camping other lanes, but often it's just a matter of opportunity or the lack thereof.

I'm sure things like this have probably been said before... but I'm posting this here now so that I can give my team a link to this post during the champion select phase whenever I am a jungler. Maybe others will want to do the same. Maybe not. Either way... this is the way it is. I'm sorry. Play safe and try to hold your lane as best you can.

GLHF!

As a jungle, if you're pushed past river and ask for a gank, I will sit and drink my Dr Pepper and continue farming. If you're pushed past river and have no wards and get ganked, the river will be filled with your tears for I shant gank even then.

I gank not because I like you, but because I need the exp.

As a jungler, I whole-heartedly agree.

As a jungler, I need not explain to you why I did not make time to gank your lane. I, also, don't owe you anything other than to tell you to ward and play safe. Lastly, as a jungler, I don't feel that I have to match up with enemy jungler in terms of how many times he/she has ganked you.

Thats nice :D I have a few tip for junglers that should really help with the blame game, because it mostly falls on the Jungler unjustly.

When you come to gank, please bring your A game. Too many times jg comes to lane and plays terrible for whatever reason probably expecting me to do most of the work and dies... It is not just 1 kill now they have blue and red buff, now i need to stay at turret and am even further behind.

When you ping to go in, please go in. Im tired of blowing my abilities thinking its gonna be a 2v1 only to be demolished in a 1v1, watch my jung go in after im dead and also be demolished. Even if you kill them, i would have really liked to not die. Please go in if you ping.

When you see i am clearly being dominated, farming under turret is not safe anymore, and enemy jungler has put up a tent in my lane. Try to make an appearance, if you feel it is best not to gank my lane, explain it... dont just not show up or ignore me. There are just some match-ups where i can do nothing, not even farm at turret. In those cases i need some help.

When i lose lane dont get mad at me, one of use was going to lose lane and it happened to be me. Im not getting mad at you because you cant take blue buff by yourself... I am getting mad if you blame me but refused to help when i asked.

If you are getting dominated in the jungle ask for help and i will try to help, but dont get mad if the enemy jungler kills you at your buff. If you need help ping, my map awareness is the area around me (my lane opponent, CSing, and my wards) it helps me focus on whats important to me and unless you ping, my attention is solely on my surroundings. Most of the time i will notice you being attacked but sometimes it does slip past me. If we could focus on the entire map then we wouldn't need MIA pings. I dont always have the luxury of standing around looking at the other lanes.

I understand Dragon and ADC is important, but a lot of the current Tops are hyper carries or late game monsters. Neither of us want a fed Riven or Jax, so its also worth to pay attention to how well they are doing rather then just thinking top lane is an island. Besides most ADC's hit a powerspike with only a few items thanks to Crit so they will be fine as long as they arent being utterly destroyed.

Most importantly, communicate with your laners. It makes me feel much better when my jungler says "I cant gank Top right now, Bot lane is losing and i need to help. Just play safe and if i can i will come Top." Even if they never come top it does make me feel a little bit better. Jungler is a good role to assume leadership as they can have influence over the entire map, just giving a bit of advice can help a whole lot.

Finally, somebody said it.

LuckyReden1/5/2015, 7:51:58 PM2 votes

But if you ping for a gank and then don't follow up and I die and you then proceed to blame me for you losing lane......Don't expect another gank.

As someone who jungles and lanes fairly evenly, I notice a funny trend.

When I jungle, I get my lane allies kills all game long, then they end up feeding anyway the majority of the time even when I gank every minute

When I lane, I never see my junglers ganking even whem im not pushed, and waiste money on wards, get the enemy jungler ganking non stop while my lane enemy can freely build what ever items due to not losing money to wards, and not being pushed off farm from jungle pressure.

If the enemy jungler ganks 4 times and takes out my wards, and my allie hasn't even made 1 attempt, I take that as my team doesn't want my assistance and will go out of my way to avoid helping them the rest of the game

If I gank a lane 4 times and my allie stays in the lane farming every time I gank not even attempting to hit the enemy, I will do just the same and spend the rest of the game being somewhere other than near them

If you troll, expect to get trolled, learn to play

Lanes need to learn to win by themselves and not rely on jungle to save the day. If you can't win and ward your lane, you have nobody but yourself to blame. People often forget this.

Well then i guess my Jungler always looks at my lane only when i'm doing somewhat good, but then looks away immediately before i lose the lane.

Well, I have had one game with a jungle darius who constantly ganked top and mid, but never EVER did he come bot. The only time he went bot was to take some minions. I was the support and we were quite behind, and against a cait and nid. I was nami and our ADC was graves. We would ping for assistance but he never came. He would though, eventually say that he is on his way after taking down the closest camp, but he never did, instead he said, "sorry, i don't have time". IF YOU DON'T HAVE TIME FOR US, WHY DID YOU HAVE TIME TO MAKE LOVE TO GROMP!!!

:/

At around 20 minutes our lane was pushed right back to our inhibitor. We constantly pinged, but he never came. Even mid karma came and ganked more than him, but it wasn't enough. He had the most kills, we had none (cait, and even karma some how). At the end, he said he couldn't carry hard enough. WE were so mad, ugh god.

My point is, don't be selfish you junglers out there. When you say you are coming down to bot, YOU BETTER BE DOWN THERE!!! Top might be a distant island, but bot lane is more important as it harbors 2 champs. Seriously, after 1 kill, we can somewhat manage ourselves after that.

Why not have the whole team go jungle?

Look at my pro new meta guide. http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/tips-tricks/wP7thATX-5-jungler-team-new-meta-guide

Junglers have a pretty good rhythm. Farm a side, keep Chilling Smite handy, go to whatever lane is having the most difficulty, if only to scare them a bit and make them temporarily retreat so your laner can get some good cs in. If none is, keep farming. Kayle jungling is magnificent for ganks with her super high damage output early game and that wonderful movement speed boost + heal of hers. Throw in Chilling Smite and you've got one seriously deadly jungler.

I'm absolutely staggered that I have seen exceptionally few Kayle junglers when she works so much better as a jungler than a support, or a laner.

But early on, it's a steady rhythm, at least until they nerf Chilling Smite because it is seriously freaking amazing. I'm amazed anyone ever gets anything else. But few people ask for help early on when they're winning their lane. They more often ask for help when you clearly can't, because they're a couple of seconds away from getting killed. Despite that you may have been on the other side of the map, they can get cranky about it.

In a way, though, there's always the benefit if an ally dies and you need to hold their turret for them. That glorious extra farm when you're always a bit behind because of that slow jungling progression...mmmm. Makes it easier to come way back later.

As a junglier, I'm constantly looking for the most bang for my buck, so to speak. Can I get my 2/0 bot lane another kill and get them snowballing harder? Then immediately take dragon? whats the buff situation? wheres the enemy junglier? how much gold do i need to hit my item thresholds? Are any of the lanes gankable? If not, can I relieve some pressure to get my laner some breathing room? farm camps? Which lanes are winning? How can i be most efficient?

junglers have to have that special skill of filtering out the chat without ignoring any of it ;-)
