What am I doing wrong? Advice

So to start off I'm in a bit of a slump I suppose. In most of my games I tend to do pretty well, and try to keep my team objective focused. If you look at my match history you can see in many of the games I've lost I've been incredibly fed. But at the same time my team has fed a ton as well. While I don't really mind losing the part that bothers me the most is that all these "feeders" have been incredibly toxic. I just don't understand, in half my games the bot feeds, so I explain to them to stay back as much as you can and just don't fight them, and I'll try to be down there asap (even when I'm playing top). I know it's probably just because I'm releveling an account, but it is really this bad on the way back up to 30? This will be my third lvl 30 account and I don't remember having these issues before.

My main question is what do I do about this? I know the only common factor in the games I've lost has been me, so clearly I'm doing something wrong. My normal games win - loss ratio went from being +6 wins to -13 losses in like 2 weeks. I even went on an 11 game loss streak where I just couldn't seem to win. Part of this could be because of my limited champ pool and for some reason ever since I hit lvl 20 I play an entire enemy team of 30s with 1 low level while my team has zero 30s.

Should I just ignore this and just finish the grind to 30 or what? My other accounts win ratio is over +100 so I don't understand what I'm doing different. Maybe it's time for me to take a break.

*TL;DR: * ** This account is only lvl 26 btw**. I'm in a slump and can't seem to get out. What do you guys do to remove yourself from a bad streak? Do you main a champ to get out? Or a role? Or switch up playstyles completely?

Thanks for the read and replies guys.

So I think you are running into a problem a lot of smurfs have. You are playing with completely new people and experienced players mixed in. This happens as you get closer to 30.

Riot tries to identify smurfs through wins and play style on pre 30 accounts. But not everyone that has been doing well is a smurf so this line of thinking can get weird match ups. You could be facing plat smurfs while having bad luck and getting bronze smurfs(those that do not belong in bronze players).

The solution to this is go complete solo Q style and forget about your team mates. Do not try and save them they probably do not understand why they are failing and how to recover. Your best bet is to steam roll your lane and then steam roll the other lane that is NOT LOSING. Then split push like their is no tomorrow. Try to punish the enemy players that are doing poorly so they freak out. Yes this is not fun for people in general (both sides) but it is a winning idea for where you are at. Just remember to lost the style as your team mates get better.

Most people do not do well with any sort of criticism(take these boards as an example). Unless your team mates are asking for help or admitting they have a problem, do not talk to them. Anything said unless they start it could come across hostile cause they are already down.

***Normal matchmaking is a clusterfuck. *** I started a new account to teach my nephew to play, I had less than 12 wins and a ton of bot games. They would group me with high plat, low diamond players, until I lost like 20 games out of 23. I am like high silver on my main.

On my main the other day, in 2 consecutive game I played with a 4 man premade(so that an auto loss anyway) where none of them had more than 100 games played. Next game I am on a team with 3 last season gold players and the other team is heavily overmatched. It was a blow out 6 mins in .

Part of the reason is that Normal MMR has no bearing on Ranked MMR and vice versa. So you could have a guy hardly play any normals and get Diamond in Ranked, then play a normal in the time before the preseason and get put with all bronze players. The other part is that Riot adds way too much bonus MMR to premades. They figure if you are a premade you are more organized so you can handle better opposition. This really isn't true; 5 Silvers in a group are not beating 5 Plat players who are solo. But this is what happens a lot.

Since you are seeing people who are not playing ranked b/c it is offseason you are seeing a lot of players who are poorly slotted for Normal.
