what are some good supports right now?

Volibear, Fiddlesticks and Anivia work if you want some off meta choices.

My go to supports are Thresh, Leona, Nami, Janna, Lulu and Morgana. I also play Braum, Alistar, Blitzcrank, Annie, Bard, Nautilus, Soraka, Taric and Zyra. Pretty much the only two supports I don't play who are "meta" supports are Zilean and Sona. Sona isn't bad, I just don't like her style. Zilean is just... idk, lackluster?

is a strong pick right now because he's just good in a lot of situations. Good pick power, hard engage, disengage, lane sustain, peel, etc. Learn his combos and you're all set for a really long time on him.

Loving Karma for zoning the enemy ADC & Supp so mine can safely farm.

Just know what you're doing. Land your hooks (which can be pretty difficult sometimes). If you're not into the whole collision skillshot thing and really like narrow, long cast time skillshots.

A few pretty complex mechanics. About the same difficulty as Bard. He takes a pretty decent amount of practice, but hes a ton of fun. High af skillcap.

Thresh is always viable. are pretty good too depending on elo

I played Blitz a lot when I tried support and he's basically a great champ for getting your adc kills with if you can land skillshots, but he doesn't bring as much to a teamfight as other supports.

That being said, I think one of the absolute best supports out there is Morgana. Very strong kit, lots of sustain, zoning potential, and her ult is great for teamfights.

Janna is terrible for solo q, she needs a specific te comp to fit in.

I likr gragas, yes gragas, he can zone ppl with his q, he can do some good dmg with his w, he can stun ppl with his e, and his r is perfect for a either splitting enemies up, or fckin everyone up when they try to escape. His utility is just too good, his cds are really low. So i consider an awesome pick for support. Now if you are more of a traditional person i, blitz, thresh, leona, nautilus, braum, morgana, nami, karma are good supports.

Ohh dont forget mao kai, he gets free vision os nearby bushes with his e, he has a root, a slow, a small knockback and his ult is so good.

Hard engage supports who rule the meta I will always be good, Riot will never actually nerf me I am a queen because nobody remembers about poke supports and engage supports reign supreme Kind of not uber popular but still very strong if played right I only do good with you because I've played you for over 1k games and I've always loved you
